2017: The Year in Review

Happy Friday (and the last Friday of 2017)!! I know I keep saying it, but I really can't believe this year is coming to a close. It has been such a year of learning, growth, strengthening, & faith and I am truly grateful for each and every experience! 

It is so much fun to look back on the year and see all that I have gone through. I'm grateful that this blog, besides a fun place to share fashion & finds, also serves as a diary of sorts! There will be so much more to come in 2018, but for now let's take a walk down memory lane...

JANUARY

One of the posts I am most proud of was this one On Embracing Confidence.

Then I shared all the details of my fall girl's trip to Nashville & gave recommendations on what to do, see, and eat.

FEBRUARY

Next we got bright and colorful and chatted about how to Winterize Your Lilly.

It made me so excited to share my tips for planning a Stress-Free Girl's Weekend.

We wrapped up the month with my gal Rachael's bachelorette weekend in ATL & took a behind the scenes look at all the fun!

MARCH

Fell head over heels for this pink dress that I found in the most unexpected place!

I also shared 5 tips to help you stand out at the office- working girls this one is for you!

APRIL

This may be my most favorite tunic of all time! And y'all loved it too!

Then we chatted weekend style with this Vineyard Vines pullover- pink & blue are my love language!

We wrapped up with this pretty floral dress that was perfect for Easter (or any sweet occasion).

MAY

I loved getting as sweet as can "bee" in these fun embroidered shorts.

Once again I fell hard for a pink dress- but this one was a Lilly look-alike and from my favorite "secret shopping spot!"

JUNE

I think my eyes turned into full hearts the minute I saw this two-piece set... can you even?!

Then Sarah Hunt and I celebrated National Wear Your Lilly Day with the Pink Palm- and boy was it fun!

Finally I shared my secrets on how I made my jewelry organizer- one of my most requested posts to date!

JULY

Blue & white is such a classic combination- especially when you add these sweet bows!

I fell hard for this Lilly matching set- so many ways to wear these pieces!

Then I let y'all in on my work-life and shared Everything You Ever Wanted to Know about Being a Jewelry Buyer!

AUGUST

I started the month by sharing my heart and my belief in community over competition. 

All smiles sharing this floral off the shoulder dress from my time in Anna Maria Island.

We chatted getaways and the perfect vacation dress in this post (can't you see how happy I am when I getaway!) :)

SEPTEMBER

The planner in me geeked out sharing how I organize my Simplified Planner!

As the temperatures (slowly) started to drop I shared fall transitional style with Cabana Life & Marley Lilly.

Of course, I always can't leave September without mentioning Hurricane Irma. It was one of the craziest, scariest weeks of my life and I am so thankful that my family and friends made it through safe & sound. 

OCTOBER

I opened up again and we chatted about the Power of One person to make a difference.

And then one of the most powerful posts I've been able to share, Bridging the Gap.

NOVEMBER

After a fun girl's weekend in Los Angeles, I recapped the trip on the blog.

Then we got colorful with Lilly Pulitzer and styled it for fall.

And then it was time to bundle up and get cozy with blanket scarves and monograms!

DECEMBER

We wrapped up the year with two perfect holiday looks that will make you the hit of any party.

And finally made a wishlist to Santa with the perfect holiday bag!

Whew! I guess that wraps up another amazing year!

I am so thankful to each and every one of y'all who makes Girl Meets Bow a part of your day! While I love creating new content- it's you who make it fun and worthwhile and have turned this space into a happy & supportive community.
