Happy Friday y'all! Was it just me or did this week drag on... and on... and on? The good news is that we made it to Friday and now the weekend fun can begin!!

It's a pretty big weekend here:
1. Saturday is my last day as president of Junior League. It's an extremely bittersweet feeling; while I have adored every moment of the journey (and learned more than I ever believed) I am also excited to have free time back in my schedule and focus on "me". It's going to be the weirdest feeling come Sunday!
2. Monday I'm headed to New York for work for three days so I've got to get packed and ready!
3. When I get back from NY I turn around and head to Key West for a girl's weekend- some major packing is in order!!

So while I will be prepping for all my travel, here's a peek at all the goodies I'm obsessing over this week :)

LPD Roundup

If you ask most fashionable women what one staple closet item is, they will almost always uniformly answer: a Little Black Dress (LBD). But what happens when black just doesn't look that great on you? For me, black doesn't do anything for me! It's definitely not my "power color" and not one I gravitate to in store... enter my closet staple- the "Little Pink Dress" (LPD)! Over the years I've come to realize that pink is my power color :) I feel my best & invincible when I'm wearing it!

Little Pink Romper

This romper may go down as my favorite item in my closet! With a wrap dress front and romper back- it's the mullet of clothing in the best way possible! ;) It's sassy, it's bright, it's cheerful, it's a straight up party & has been begging to run around town from the minute I got it! (I'm not going to lie, I actually got it with the thought of wearing it on a date... now if I can just get myself asked on one of those! ha!)

Yay yay yay Friday!! I'm so ready for the weekend! Tonight is the Junior League's performance of The Follies- and our final fundraiser of the year!! It's hard to believe that the year is wrapping up so quickly but I'm trying to soak in every minute of it :)

I'm also so excited that I will get to see some of my gal pals for brunch Saturday- we're finally meeting baby Rhett and I can't wait for allllllllllll the baby snuggles! #TheSweetest

Bright colors... what a surprise right?! ha! This just might be my new favorite Lilly Pulitzer dress (and that's saying a lot!) but I was like a moth to a flame when I saw the vibrant pattern & the elephants swirling thought the dress. One of my favorite things about Lilly, besides finding Lilly's signature in each piece, is the unexpected details she always includes. Case in point: the fun cut-outs on the back of this dress! They are not too over the top that it would keep this from being work appropriate, but it's enough sass to keep it interesting! The fact that I can eat my weight in corn nuggets and hide it in the "swing" isn't a bad perk either ;)

The weather in Florida has been absolutely glorious the last two weeks- it's like spring finally decided to pay us a visit! It's even been cool enough in the mornings and at night for light layers- like this perfect denim jacket. I seriously wear my jacket at least once a week- I'm thinking about adding a white version to my collection so I can wear it twice a week without judgement ;)

Sunday Scripture + Thoughts

This verse has been so pressed into my heart lately that I know the Lord has been wanting me to take note! I'm a very happy and optimistic person, but my prayer life often involves me asking for things that I don't yet have (or think I want). But it's been amazing to see all the different ways the Lord brought this verse to my attention, and it's really convicted me to be more thankful for everything in the here and now.

Currently Obsessing Over... {v. 67}

Oh happy day y'all- it's Friday!! Although this week zipped on by, it's been an extremely busy one with nightly meetings and far too many commitments! BUT, next week our Junior League is putting on a super fun show/fundraiser called "The Follies" so all my meetings have been fun because they are rehearsals for this great show!

This weekend will not have a lot of rest either though... I have a kickoff party for Mainsail Art Festival tonight, volunteering at the festival tomorrow, and getting in new blog pictures (I'm out!) Whew! Throw a few more dance rehearsals in there and you have one tired (but happy) girl! I thought weekends were for relaxing?! :)

Design Details: A Cozy New Desk Space

I recently have been bitten by the home decor bug and I have the urge to redecorate every square inch of my apartment! One of the first things I am desperate to add to my space is a defined desk area (i.e.: a real desk!) Right now I don't have one, and I just feel like I will be infinitely more productive if I'm not on the couch watching Southern Charm while typing in my lap, but rather working away on an adorable desk!

After seeing the darling "Florida Home Pring" on Amanda's blog last week, I was inspired and instantly knew the kind of work space I wanted to create. I want a crisp, clean, and simple gallery wall above my desk, with just a few streamlined accents. Luckily for me, I already have picked out my prints:

Now that I know what I want on the wall, here are a few ideas I have for the space in general- hopefully if you need inspiration they will provide some for you as well :) I'm sure smitten with all of them!

Yes to all the cold-shoulders, please get in my closet! I'm just totally loving this "naked shoulder" trend y'all! The colors in this dress are absolutely perfect for Spring (and just so happen to match my Kendra Scott fabulously!) and have me so excited for all the seasonal activities that it's warm enough to participate in here in Florida (sorry my northern friends!) Currently Obsessing Over... {v. 66}

Can I get a big 'ol "heck yes" for Friday?? Oh yes! I'm sorry if I've been saying this far too often, but this week was another crazy daisy one. With T-22 days left of the presidency, things seem to be going about 150 miles a minute and I'm just trying desperately to hang on! :) Even this weekend is jam-packed full of activities... so I'm going to load up on coffee and go, go, go!!

Ruffles, a Romper, and Cowboy Boots

Remember that Target shopping spree I've been on? Yep, it's still going strong! I couldn't resist the adorable ruffles around the bottom of this romper (especially under $25!!) I decided to go "full southern" and add my beloved cowboy boots, but I've also rocked it with simple sandals and it's just as cute!

Speaking of "full southern," who all LOVED the Southern Charm premiere last night?? It just might be my favorite Bravo series and I'm so excited to have all my friends back :) I'm also pretty pumped that Bravo, Patricia, and Craig "re-tweeted" me last night- I was totes fan girling over that! ha! I'm still holding out hope that whenever Shep is ready to settle down he'll somehow find me #aGirlCanDream...

Gimme the Cold Shoulder

Oh my goodness y'all, if you stopped by last week you know it was almost crickets around here and I am so sorry about that! Work was IN-sane and it barely left me time to eat or sleep... let alone blog! But I worked hard this weekend to get all caught up and am ready to be back in the grind this week :) 

So let's chat about this gorgeous dress shall we?! You know I'm cuckoo for coco puffs over cold shoulders this season so #sorrynotsorry you are seeing so many of them over here! There is just something so subtly sexy about them that I love! This dress was actually the first one I bought- so it's to blame for starting my obsession. I jazzed it up here with pretty lace-up heels, but I could easily see it being brunch appropriate with flat sandals and a crossbody too!
