Boo Y'all!

Happy Halloween y'all! I'm going to be real honest, Halloween is my least favorite holiday of the year (it may have something to do with the fact that I have a huge aversion to dressing in costume and jump at the sight of anything scary), but I just love fall decor and I feel like Halloween ushers all those in- so that's a positive! Rather than my usual "Currently Obsessing Over" post, today I thought I would show you a few decorated pumpkins I'm currently loving (and regular "obsessing over" posts will return next Friday!)

Pink and Preppy

Y'all I am so into pink and black lately it's not even funny! I could give this color combo a hug I am loving it that much! The black and white is so classic while pops of bright pink keep the look straight-up f-u-n! And these days who doesn't need a little more fun in their look?! I also added even more pizzaz with this fun turquoise jewelry- I think it brought the whole look together - don't you?

Prints and Patterns

There are days where I like to play it safe with my wardrobe… but then there are days like today where I do not! Sometime I just get a wild hair and love to mix it up- and though all these pieces seem a little crazy something about them just kind of "works" when put all together! Plus, we all know by now that leopard is a neutral… so these leopard accents just tie everything together! :) On this sunny Tuesday I hope y'all aren't afraid to mix it up a little bit- some wild never hurt anyone! Pumpkin Patch

In honor of Halloween this weekend I just had to take a trip to the local Pumpkin Patch! It was so much fun finding the perfect pumpkin, and seeing all the kids and families so excited about picking out their favorite ones to take home and carve. I just love this time of the year, with all the fun festivities in the air and the excitement and buzz all around! Have you picked out your pumpkin yet?

Arabian Nights

I'm having so much fun mixing and matching my favorite fall skirts and sweaters! It's such an easy look to throw on when your in a hurry (sweater- check, skirt- check, boots- check) and each time it looks different! I'm also more than a little obsessed with this camel sweater, the minute I saw it in the "New Arrivals" of J. Crew Factory I knew that I had to have it; it's such a fun and unique motif! Wedding Wednesday: #thegunklewedding {Rehearsal Dinner}

It's time for our next edition of "Wedding Wednesday" following the details of my sweet friend Cherysh's special weekend of nuptials. Today i'm sharing the fun of the Rehearsal dinner! Cherysh's fiance, David, is a huge Atlanta Braves fan so they had a baseball-themed rehearsal dinner and it was so much fun! It was also great to dress in our favorite sports-gear (I of course supported my Florida Gators)!

Puppy Love

Ahhhhh… that big sigh is me being so content with the gorgeous temps that Florida has decided to grace us with- it's a dream y'all! I'm loving that I can seriously wear sweaters and my herringbone vest that I've been dying to break out of my closet. And side note, how cute is this sweater that looks like my sweet hound, Buddy?! I die. It's so adorable! :)

Recipe Box: Copycat Broccoli Cheese Soup

Happy Saturday y'all! I'm so excited to share this recipe with you today because it is totally a Panera copy-cat recipe... and boy is it good! Plus it is "dead easy" (as my mom loves to say) because all you have to do is dump the ingredients in your crockpot and go!

Here are the ingredients needed:
- 2 (10 oz) cans, Cream of Chicken Soup
- 2 cups, matchstick carrots (or you can shred your own carrots)
- 1 lb Velveeta, cubed
- 2 (12 oz) bags, frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 qt Half and Half
- 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce (I prefer croutons)

1. Add all ingredients to Crockpot and stir
2. Cook on high for 4 hours

Once cooked I added shredded cheddar cheese and croutons as toppings (YUM!)

Currently Obsessing Over… {v. 12}

Happy Friday Friends! This week has been a great one! I'm not sure if it's because Florida has finally hopped on the Fall bandwagon (amen high of 79 degrees!) or all the sample sales at work (they are a great perk of working in retail) but I'm just ending this week so happy! Also, my beloved Gators play their homecoming game and my fingers and toes are crossed that they have a great showing! In the midst of it all I've found some fabulous goodies- so here are my current obsessions this week :)

Pink Power

Would it surprise any of y'all if I told you I have just about the biggest sweet tooth ever? No? Well then y'all have really gotten to know me well ;) It just so happens that in the middle of shooting I stumbled upon a brand new cupcake shop… and well, the boxes were pink, I was wearing pink… I think this is what we call serendipity folks! [For the record, Smallcakes cupcakes were as delicious as their cute packing would have you believe ;)] 

I'm totally loving the hot pink and black for fall (and this isn't the last time you are going to see this color combination on here)! Something about the vivid pink in contrast to black is just making me feel so festive! And this pink is even brighter in person than these pictures would have you believe- so put on your shades friends! :) What is your favorite color combo this season?

Wedding Wednesday: #thegunklewedding {Bachelorette Party}

As many of you saw over on Instagram, I spent some time in North Carolina recently for my sweet girlfriend Cherysh's beautiful wedding weekend. It was such a fun celebration of her love! I took so many pictures (I just got a DSLR camera and was having a blast learning how to use it!) that it's going to take time to share them all with you. So I thought a "wedding wednesday" series would be fun for the next few weeks! 

Today I am sharing some photos from Cherysh's bachelorette party! We started off the night with appetizers and drinks at her house, then took a party bus to downtown Raleigh for some fun out on the town! It was pretty dark in the bus and out in 'da club (ha!) so I'm just including pics from the start of the night. We had the best time celebrating our girl!

{Giveaway} Giddy Paperie

Y'all today I am so thrilled to introduce the cutest stationary company to you, Giddy Paperie! There are times in life when I am all about technology- FaceTiming with far away loved ones, emailing with my overseas vendors, and the instantaneous connectivity of technology. But there are other times in which the old-fashioned girl in me comes out and I am all about the paper. Pop!

Happy Monday Friends! I think it's no secret by now that Florida is late to the game with Fall weather (#somethingsneverchange)- so i'm constantly looking for ways to beat the heat and still enjoy some touches of fall fashion. This outfit fits the bill for both of those! This Lilly scarf is going to be a favorite throughout the season; I love the cheery "pop" print and it reminds me that every day is a cause for celebration. And the peplum tee just adds a little extra pizzaz, dontcha think?!

Bend it Like Beckett

When I was in Nashville  two weeks ago I rocked this outfit for a night out on Broadway- and it couldn't have been a better choice! These booties were so much edgier than my normal style, but I loved the fun, fringe flair they added to my normally polished look! Throw in some oversize gold jewelry and you have a recipe for a great Southern look!
