Punchy Pineapples

Dress: c/o Tracy Negoshian || Vest: Old Navy || Booties: Target (old, super similar & under $35) || Apple Watch with this band || Earrings: c/o Lisi Lerch

Happy Monday! What a fun weekend I had around here! Saturday I was lucky enough to co-host the Scout and Molly's first anniversary party and y'all it was a BLAST! There is nothing I love more than getting to meet y'all in person and hug your sweet necks- and how fun it was! Of course I also loved that Sarah and I were able to grab lunch at Bar Taco (do you have one in your area?). I tried the pork belly bowl for the first time and it was amazing!

Sunday I volunteered at church (love my darling one year olds!) and then my aunt & I shot 14 new looks for the blog! Yep, that's a ton of new content headed your way! It was on and off pouring rain most of the day, so we were dashing into storefronts & hiding under awnings while trying to get the perfect shots. It was kind of a crazy day!

One Fish, Two Fish

Romper: Tracy Negoshian (on sale for 50% off!) || Earrings: RJ Graziano (option here) || Apple Watch with this band || Sandals: c/o Oka-B

Woo-hoo for Friday my sweet friends! What better way to celebrate than a fish-print romper and some fun tassel sandals? I can't think of a better way! :)

Pretty soon it's going to be all layers & cardigans & sweaters up in the blog scene... so I'm savoring my fish-prints as long as possible! I've been heart-eyed for this romper forever, so when I saw it on sale for 50% off - I jumped! The good news is it is fully in stock still for y'all to scoop up too. (How can anyone resist those turquoise fish buttons?!) I just got some new Oka-B's in the mail, and I thought the tassels were such a fun compliment to the piece as well; whimsy on whimsy? I'm in!

A Summertime Girl's Night Out

Dress: Tracy Negoshian (old, love this & this one too) **Check out this flashback post to see how I wore this dress originally! || Sandals: c/o Oka-B Amina || Clutch: BP (sold out, great option)

If you've been hanging around this blog for any length of time, then you know how much I adore my girlfriends & am so thrilled when we can get together for a girl's night out! Luckily, this weekend I got a double-dose of fun; first, Friday night I went to see Lady Antebellum & Krystal and I WON meet and greet passes! It's a crazy (and kind of windy) story- but we were beside ourselves with excitement and they were sweet as could be! Saturday night, Sarah Hunt and I snapped a few photos for each other and then settled in with French 75's and a locally-sourced meal for some girl time and catch-up!

Workweek Chic: 5 Ways to Stand Out at The Office

Dress: Tracy Negoshian || Wedges: J. Crew Factory || Monogram: Moon & Lola (I'm wearing the XL size) || Apple Watch

Happy Wednesday friends! Yesterday I ended up having a crazy day at work - if you follow me on Instagram that you saw I was at the studio until almost 1:00 AM because we had a Today's Special launch at midnight for my brand. We were introducing a new guest and I wanted to be there to support her! I was running on about 4 hours of sleep the rest of the day, and then got my end-of-year review! A whole lot to take in :)

But, as I was speaking with my boss about my successes and opportunities, it got me thinking that I've learned a LOT in the past 7 years of being a professional, and I wanted to share some of that with y'all. When you work in a large corporate office it can be difficult to stand out among all your co-workers. But, I have a few tips that have made a difference for me and have helped me to get noticed (in good ways!) PS- Even if you worked in a smaller office or less traditional environment these tips can still apply!

Summer Colors: Pink + Turquoise

Pink Polo: Tracy Negoshian // Turquoise Striped Skirt: Loft (old, similar here) // Gold Sandals: Sophie & Trey // Aviators: Target // Apple Watch // Bangles: Bourbon and Bowties

Lately I've been trying to shop my closet a little more and trying to find new ways to wear some of my tried and true pieces. I've got lots of expenses that will be coming my way soon (I'm trying to buy new living rom and bedroom furniture) so I've got to keep my shopping in moderation- which is no easy feat for me! So, I got really excited when I realized that shopping my closet brought together today's colorful and fresh look!

For me, adding brights on top + brights on bottom = a winning combination! I love the way the pink and turquoise compliment each other, and some simple gold accessories bring it all together. Do you have any tips for shopping your closet? Or saving money? I'll take any help I can get! :)

Blissfully Biking

Dress: Tracy Negoshian // Sandals: c/o Oka-B (get 20% off with "OKABGIRL16") // Apple Watch // Necklace: Kendra Scott Rayne

Summertime conjures up a lot of great imagery for me: hot dogs on the bbq, fresh watermelon, sundresses, and of course long, leisurely bike rides! When you've got a cruiser this cute, it's natural to want to use it as much as possible (especially in this gorgeous weather we've been having)! I was tickled when I realized my dress, bike, and Oka-B sandals were a perfect match- so of course I took it for a spin! I was definitely the most colorful biker on the block!

PS- Thank y'all SO much for your incredibility kind comments on Friday's post! Knowing that you find joy in the blog and it makes you smile means the world to me! :)

Tracy Negoshian Kira Top

I've talked about my "uniform" before and this is the fall version of it; an easy blouse, my Lilly Pulitzer travel pants, boots and some fun baubles and I'm ready to run out the door! I probably wear this look far too often (in fact I wore a version yesterday!) but I love it so much I can't help it! Do y'all have any go-to looks?

Romping in the Mountains

Do you ever have one of those weekends you wish you could live over and over again? That was my girl's trip to Asheville 2 weeks ago! I made the most wonderful memories with my best friends and all I want to say is #takemeback ! So excuse me if I stretch out the sharing of my trip a little bit, I'm just trying to savor the sweet weekend :) Today is a peek at what I wore on our first day of sightseeing. The weather was pretty picture-perfect so I took advantage and wore my new Tracy Negoshian romper (so comfy!) and toted my new Barrington Bag (fits everything and more!) and pretty much had the best afternoon ever :)

PS- how gorgeous was the view from our cabin? We spent each morning drinking coffee and hot tubbing on the porch and soaking it all in!

Anchors on the Beach

So how did everyone make out at the Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale yesterday? I lucked out by only being 2,000 in line (which by all accounts is pretty fab!) and only missed two items on my wish list (that were sold out everywhere) so I am one happy gal! What did you pick up? Any crazy stories?! If you haven't shopped the sale yet, you're in luck because it goes runs until midnight tonight! #GetYourShoppingOn :)

Now on to today's look… I love dressing for my surroundings, so it was a no-brainer to pull out my nautical maxi for a day at the beach! This dress is one of my favorites in my closet because it never fails to make me feel beautiful (and that is how your clothes should always make you feel)!

Also, I wanted to let you know that I'm going to try and start replying to comments through email rather than on the blog so that you get notifications/emails and I can answer questions more in depth! So, make sure when you comment you are not set up as a "no-reply" blogger so that you can get my response :) Let me know if you have a preference as to how comments are replied to (on the blog or through email)- I'm all ears :)

LBD

Y'all I had the best night last night! I was able to meet up with the sweetest local blogger, Jessica of Ivory Sunshine, and we chatted shop & life and had so much fun! It's amazing to think that the blogging community can bring people together like that- and I am so thankful for opportunities like these!

Now on to today's look… I think we can all agree that a Little Black Dress is the wardrobe must-have of all wardrobe must-haves. So it only makes sense then that mine would be from my favorite designer ever, Tracy Negoshian, right?! Like everything else Tracy designs, this dress is super comfortable and I love that it is made out of a thicker-knit ponte fabric so all your lumps and bumps aren't hanging out! Plus I can think of about, oh, 100000000 different ways to style it! Talk about a winner!

Paisley Perfection

Thank you all so much for your congratulations and kind words on yesterday's "birthday" post! Your support and encouragement means the world to me! :) Although yesterday was filled with balloons and celebrations, behind the scenes it was a different story...

Leopard Holiday Look

It's the start of holiday party season, and I don't know about you but my calendar is jam-packed! Since I'm trying to save my budget for buying presents for my sweet friends and family, I've been re-working old favorites into fun party looks- and this might be my favorite! As we all know by now #leopardisaneutral, and make that leopard in a turquoise print and we have a big winner friends! I just added my go-to black skirt and fun bow pumps, and bam! A winner!
10

All Tied Up

I love fun little details that elevate a dress from "cute" to "too cute" and the bow on this Tracy Negoshian does just that! While these bright colors are perfect for now, I've already decide I can turn this into a fall look with a turquoise wrap cardigan and riding boots- who says fall has to be toned down?!

2

Turquoise and Teal

Somewhere between the beginning of summer and now, I've fallen in love with the easy combination of a flowy blouse + shorts. Y'all it has seriously become my uniform over the past four months! And the great bonus of this combo- it looks like you tried even though it only took you 5 minutes to get dressed. Score! (And you know if my girl Tracy Negoshian is designing any of your pieces your going to feel like a million bucks too!)
11

A Little Ruffle

I know fashion is turing towards fall but I just can't let go of the last sweet days of summer! Luckily in that respect the sun is definitely cooperating- as you can see in the bight lights of these pictures :) We all know that maxi dresses are the best staples, but I love that the little ruffle across the top of this dress gives it that little "something extra"! How are you soaking in the last days of the season?
6

Seahorsing Around

Being a girl is just so much fun sometimes! I mean, who else gets to wear chevron-printed seahorse dresses?! Nothing says, "I'm at the beach" more than this adorable little number!
Dressing this fun makes the hours of hair-straightening and blow-drying totally worth it! :)

10

Simply

Sometimes I have that terrible female habit of overcomplicating things- reading too much into situations, over thinking decisions, and just plain making things harder. That's why I am thankful that there are dresses like this, that on the most complicated days keep life simple. I am obsessed with this easy shift! I love that you can add the bow, or not, it's all about keeping it simple!

2

Pineapple Princess

As i'm sure y'all are aware, pineapples have been everywhere this season! From t-shirts to tanks to skirts and accessories there was no escaping this motif. Well I was not immune to the charm of this print either, and when I spotted it on Tracy Negoshian's website I fell in love! And then, luck of all luck this beauty popped up at her sample sale last week! Score! I can't wait to style this tunic for fall as well- I think with boots and jeans it will be perfect for that "transition time" that is drawing nearer by the day :)
