Hey y'all- happy Tuesday & July!! I'm so glad to be back in action today (did you miss me?!) If you keep up with my adventures on Insta and Snapchat (@girlmeetsbow) then you saw that I was on an awesome family vacay to the great state of WI! My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary (that's right... SIXTY Years!) and the whole family got together to celebrate! It was such a wonderful weekend and so nice to catch up with relatives that I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. Plus, the weather was a total dream - 70 degrees and no humidity! #TakeMeBack I plan on sharing all my pictures soon, but for today a new outfit post is in order!

 Can you believe this is the last day of June?! Half way through the year y'all! Time, please slow down! The only good thing about the end of June is that it brings the 4th of July- whoop whoop! Today I'm sharing another, more casual, look to celebrate America's birthday. So if you have a backyard bbq, or lake day planned then this is a great look for you! I plan on wearing it for my travel tomorrow (to see where I'm headed, keep up with me on Insta or Snap @girlmeetsbow).

One Dress Two Ways- Look #2 (Weekend)

Y'all went bananas last week (with good reason!) when I shared look one of this dress, so I couldn't be more excited to share look two with you today! Last week we styled it for work, so today we are tackling "weekend". One of my favorite ways to dress down a piece is with my trusty denim jacket- it works every time :) This dress is so fun and colorful that I wanted to bring that out with this bright Kate Spade cross body (perfect for running around town with hand's free ease) and then ground the look with bright white tennies! Would you judge me if I wore this every day?! ;)

The Holiday Spirit

Y'all, I'm having the hardest time getting into the holiday spirit this year (it probably has something to do with the 90 degree weather)- this year has flown by so fast I can't believe it is almost Thanksgiving and then Christmas! But whenever I'm struggling with feeling, I find that dressing the part usually helps ;) So today I'm going full festive in hopes that I can start to spread some holiday cheer! This skirt is definitely doing a great job of getting me ready for the fun to come in the next few weeks!

Happy Fri-YAY y'all! What a whirlwind week it has been! I had an event or meeting every night this week and have missed my workouts this week- I'm definitely feeling the effects of a busy schedule! On Wednesday I got to have some fun with McKenzie from Winsome and Gold, we had a mini blogger meet up and had such a blast getting to know each other and talking shop! Loft Medallion Romper

I think you can tell from the pictures, but I had so much fun shooting this outfit! The beach is totally my happy place (and wearing a romper on the beach is double the fun)! And how can one not smile huge when wearing a big floppy sunhat?! Literally, all these factors make it impossible to frown! :) 

Did any of y'all watch the premiere of Bachelor in Paradise last night? I can already see all the train wrecks coming (hellooooo... Ashley I) but there are some adorable cast members there (Tanner I'm looking at you)! I'm also so excited to see Tenley again- she is one of my favorites on the show and I was so sad when Kiptyn broke her heart. I hope she find love on #BIP! Who do you love so far?

Loft Full Bloom Romper

This romper has been "mine" since the minute I saw it in Loft's preview catalogue a month before it was released! I rushed to the store and asked it's release date and on June 1st I hightailed it over to the Loft to make this baby mine (for realz) :) It was worth the hustle- because I'm all heart-eyed emoji over it! It is seriously so versatile! I've already worn it out with wedges and an arm party and today I'm styling it as a casual weekend look. Trust me, this piece is completely worth the drama!

Black and White Stripes

There is nothing more classic than black and white stripes, and on days when I'm looking for that extra boost of confidence in my wardrobe I can always count on this combo to see me through. I love that this dress is made extra interesting by the mixing of striped between the top and the skirt- it gives it that "little something extra" (as Elle Woods would say!)

I'm sorry I'm a little late in posting these photos, I picked up this dress a few weeks ago and now it's almost sold out (insert sad face emoji) but I've linked the sizes that are left as well as a fabulous alternative below!

Hello Friday, you're looking dapper! :) Today is the first day of my Junior League presidency (eek!) and I can't believe the year I've waited for in such intense anticipation is here!! I know that I am in for the most rewarding, exciting, challenging, hard, thrilling year of my life- and I can't wait to share it all with you!

After all the craziness of April I'm also super-duper excited to just have this weekend to relax and catch up on life a bit! I have some fun girls nights out planned, but other than that it's cleaning, organizing, and errand running- and I'm ok with that! (#alltheadultthings)

Well it's already mid-April and Florida is still awaiting it's much anticipated rain storms, which means I still haven't gotten to break out my rainy day gear! It's one of my favorite weekends of the year - Easter Weekend! There is just something about donning your Easter best and celebrating our Risen Lord with your loved ones that is so special to me! I'm looking forward to egg hunts (and the yummy candies!) and time with my sweet family. How are you celebrating?

For the Birds

Happy Monday y'all! I hope your weekend was a wonderful one, mine sure was! I love weekends that are filled with creativity and inspiration- they just get you so ready to tackle the week ahead! (And I needed it- I have meetings every night this week. Whew!) On to today's look… 

I think we can all agree that Spring is pretty much the best season ever! I will never get over my love of bright color, playful prints, and glorious weather… my heart is just so happy in the Spring! I have to tell you a little secret about this outfit… I actually found it in my archives of un-posted outfits! It was just so perfect for celebrating spring that I had to break it out and share it with you! :)

This top came with the fabric belt and it is actually supposed to go around your middle, but I thought it was perfect to turn it into a fun belt with this skirt! Also, if you can't read my bangle it has one of my favorite quotes on it, "Well behaved women rarely make history." It's just the right amount of cheeky don't you think?!
