Summer Style: Loft Red Embroidered Swing Dress

Y'all swing dresses are just about the only thing helping me to beat the heat these days! I don't know how your temps are going, but Florida's are Hot Hot Hot!! When I spotted this cute red number at the Loft, I had to snatch it up (and the 50% off didn't hurt!) The breezy, floaty shape is the best for the summer & I can't get enough. Sidenote: you can also eat as much as you want when wearing one & no one can tell ;)

Loft Full Bloom Romper

This romper has been "mine" since the minute I saw it in Loft's preview catalogue a month before it was released! I rushed to the store and asked it's release date and on June 1st I hightailed it over to the Loft to make this baby mine (for realz) :) It was worth the hustle- because I'm all heart-eyed emoji over it! It is seriously so versatile! I've already worn it out with wedges and an arm party and today I'm styling it as a casual weekend look. Trust me, this piece is completely worth the drama!

From Work to Weekend with Kushyfoot

I know that I've talked about this to y'all before, but I just can't say it enough… when it comes to my closet, versatility is the name of the game! As a fashionista on a budget, my clothes need to transition from workday to weekend with a simple change of accessories. One of the easiest accessories to change out (that has a huge impact on your look) is your footwear! Since pumps are not always my friend, my new Kushyfoot peep toe covers have made it so much more comfortable to wear them all day! Black and White Stripes

There is nothing more classic than black and white stripes, and on days when I'm looking for that extra boost of confidence in my wardrobe I can always count on this combo to see me through. I love that this dress is made extra interesting by the mixing of striped between the top and the skirt- it gives it that "little something extra" (as Elle Woods would say!)

Life in Lilly

I think that oftentimes Lilly Pulitzer can be a brand that skews towards special occasions and holidays, but I'm here to show you that Lilly can be an everyday brand too! (And doesn't it make your day more fabulous when your wearing something special?) Today I took one of my favorite skirt silhouettes, the Avery, and dressed it down with a casual tee and sandals. Simple, easy, and still colorful & fun! No matter how you style it, when you wear Lilly you can help but be reminded to live a colorful life :)

Bedrock Print Set

Isn't this "dress" just the cutest?! Well I have a secret… it's not a dress- it's a matching set! I've been totally crushing on matching sets this spring, I just think they are so fun and fresh! But I was super worried that they wouldn't work for me. But then, like a hero, the Loft came through with this one and I was smitten. I love that I can wear both of these pieces separately, but they also look fab together! Everyone mistook this for a dress and it was so fun to share that it was actually two pieces! :) Tell me, have you tried a two-piece yet?

Fuchsia Midi Skirt

Cue Legally Blonde the Musical, 'cause "Oh my god, oh my god you guys!!" I mean, this skirt tho!! After I missed out on purchasing the red version of this skirt at Christmas, I wasn't going to miss out on another one- especially when it is in my signature color pink! And boy am I glad that I scooped this beauty up, because there are just so many fun ways to style it. Today I wen't for a more office-appropriate style, but this can easily be your best brunch look with a striped tee and sandals, or date night worthy with a sweet & sexy blouse. So many possibilities y'all- and I love them all!!

Alright y'all, I hope you have your shades ready because you're going to need them today! I fell in love with this skirt the minute I saw it - there is nothing about this neon green that I don't adore! When I thought of how to style it, I knew I could go the more traditional route of a neutral on top. But how much fun would that be?! (not enough is the answer!) So I grabbed my favorite neon striped tee and voila! An outfit that made me insanely happy was born :)

Cheers to 27 Years!

Well friends, I can hardly believe it, but today is my 27th birthday! I've got so many emotions running through me today as I get another year closer to 30 "wiser", but mainly I'm just excited to celebrate! 26 was a roller-coaster of a year, and I'm hoping this fresh new year brings a whole lot of joy and happiness :) But for today, it's all about the #popfizzclink !

I Like the Way You Work It

Since I spend 40+ hours a week in my office, I thought it was only fitting that I share a work look with you! Although my office is quite fashionable, and one can get away with quite a lot (we are a Fasion HQ after all!) some days I really love keeping it classic. I fell hard for this J. Crew tassel top when I saw it online, and knew it would be perfect to jazz up my workweek look! Speaking of jazz, lately I'm loving adding a Bourbon and Bowties bangle (or two or three) to my wrist to add a little extra personality. Working in a cubicle doesn't have to mean sacrificing your style- how to you spice up your look at the office?

Valentine's Lookbook: Dressy Date

Friends, I sure do love love! There's no more cheerful and "aww" inducing holiday than Valentine's Day- and I just adore it! I love the pink (duh!) and red, the hearts, the candy, and all of the cheesy hoopla that goes along with it! So, in the spirit of my second favorite holiday of the year (behind Christmas/Thanksgiving of course) this week is going to focus on Valentine's day! Today I'm sharing my look for a "dressy date". Whether it be for your Valentine or your Gal-entines, it sure is fun to get dolled up and put on your heels to celebrate love in all its forms :) I've had this Loft leopard dress on my lust list forever, so when it finally went on sale + an extra 50% off I knew it was the time to make it mine! Then add in my fave holiday and you have the perfect occasion to pull it out! I added some fun pearls and classic black pumps to complete this party perfect look. Love is in the air y'all! There are days where I like to play it safe with my wardrobe… but then there are days like today where I do not! Sometime I just get a wild hair and love to mix it up- and though all these pieces seem a little crazy something about them just kind of "works" when put all together! Plus, we all know by now that leopard is a neutral… so these leopard accents just tie everything together! :) On this sunny Tuesday I hope y'all aren't afraid to mix it up a little bit- some wild never hurt anyone! Nautical Navy

With Independence Day on Friday I have some serious red, white, and blue on the brain! Since navy is one of my favorite colors to wear, and nautical is my favorite style, this dress is pure 4th of July perfection!

Speaking of the 4th- do y'all have any fun plans? This is going to be the first weekend in several weeks that the only thing on my agenda is relaxation… and I'm pretty stoked about that! I plan on shopping for my trip to NY in a few weeks, laying out, visiting the beach, and loving on the pup. Is it Friday yet?? ha!

Maroon-ed

There is nothing more romantic than a whole lotta lace… but you know what isn't romantic?! The Florida humidity! Folks my hair was just not loving the heat so up it went! (Although I'm kind of digging' this fun little updo that came out of it)!

Anywho… back to this lovely dress! I got this gem on sale for $20 at the Loft earlier this year- it was the last in stock (in my world that means #meanttobe). I love this simple and sophisticated look for special events- it's just classy as can be! What is your go-to look for special events?

Jump Around

Jumpsuits are where it's at y'all! If you read my Dallas recap yesterday, then you may have seen this cute lil number peaking at you from behind the big pink lei :) I am absolutely obsessed with this fun look! I wore this on our "ultimate bachelorette night" and it was perfect for wiggling around throughout  the evening! ha!

J.Crew Floral Skirt

Happy Tuesday Y'all! This sweet J.Crew floral skirt has been making its rounds on the blogsphere lately and I have been totally smitten. Well over Memorial Day weekend I feel into the biggest shopping luck-out of ALL TIME! This beauty was at my local J.Crew store marked down to $20 (you read that right!)- then... it got even better! Not only was this skirt the last one in the store (and in my size), when I checked out it was an additional 40% off sale! That's right folks, this stunner cost me $12.88!!! What is the biggest steal you ever had while shopping??
