Lately I've really been challenging myself to run to God first instead of last. I often ask Him for what I want first, but when wonderful things are happening He's the last person I celebrate with. But since all blessings come from our sweet Lord, doesn't he deserve my first words of joy and thankfulness? I have a habit of thinking I'm "lucky" when the good is happening, but when the times of sorrow or need come, that's when I pray fervently. I want to pray with that fervent passion in ALL times- and especially in times of celebration! I want the Lord to know how thankful I am for all He is doing in my life, because there is so much goodness in every day!
