"And the best part is, you can wear it again!"

If you're anything like me, at this point in your life you have probably been in quite a few weddings! And I don't know about you but I have heard, more times than I can count, "And the best part is you can wear it again!" (Que. scene from 27 Dresses) However, with the modernization of bridesmaid dresses this is actually becoming a true statement! No longer are we drowning in layers of taffeta and fluff, but we are wearing chic and streamlined dresses! (Thank the bridesmaid designing lords!!) :)

When Weddington Way asked me to style a bridesmaid dress for the "big day" and the weekend, I jumped at the chance! I've actually used Weddington Way for a recent wedding I was it and it was fabulous! So I'm excited to style the dress for you that I actually wore and show you just how versatile they can be!

Dress: Weddington Way in Cerise // Shoes: Charles by Charles David // Statement Necklace: BabuleBar // Clutch: Natasha Couture // Pashmina: Nordstrom // Bracelet: Kate Spade // Earrings: Kate Spade

Dress: Weddington Way in Cerise // Boots: Frye // Jacket: KUT from the Kloth // Studs: Kate Spade // Crossbody: Michael Kors // Necklace: BaubleBar // Watch: Michael Kors

Thanks for stopping by y'all!

Wedding Wednesday: #thegunklewedding {The Big Day}

Well friends we have a big day today; the biggest day in fact: Cherysh's day of "I Do's"! I have previously shared Cherysh's bachelorette (part 1 and part 2) as well as her rehearsal dinner, but I am so excited to share her wedding day today! I was honored that Cherysh asked me to be her "day of" coordinator (basically her wedding planner for the big day); I couldn't have been more excited to help take stress off her and make her dream day everything she wished for!

It was an absolutely gorgeous North Carolina day and every detail of the wedding was just perfection! Cherysh thought of every last detail and picked out every decoration featured on her day. She even had me and my sweet "assistants" assemble her alter for her! From stringing decorations to hammering signs in the ground- we would have done anything to help this gal have the best day ever! We love you Cherysh and are so glad you've found the man to spend your "happily ever after" with!

Enjoy this look at all the details that made this Big Day so very special for #thegunklewedding:

Wedding Wednesday: #thegunklewedding {Rehearsal Dinner}

It's time for our next edition of "Wedding Wednesday" following the details of my sweet friend Cherysh's special weekend of nuptials. Today i'm sharing the fun of the Rehearsal dinner! Cherysh's fiance, David, is a huge Atlanta Braves fan so they had a baseball-themed rehearsal dinner and it was so much fun! It was also great to dress in our favorite sports-gear (I of course supported my Florida Gators)!

Wedding Wednesday: #thegunklewedding {Bachelorette Party}

As many of you saw over on Instagram, I spent some time in North Carolina recently for my sweet girlfriend Cherysh's beautiful wedding weekend. It was such a fun celebration of her love! I took so many pictures (I just got a DSLR camera and was having a blast learning how to use it!) that it's going to take time to share them all with you. So I thought a "wedding wednesday" series would be fun for the next few weeks!

Today I am sharing some photos from Cherysh's bachelorette party! We started off the night with appetizers and drinks at her house, then took a party bus to downtown Raleigh for some fun out on the town! It was pretty dark in the bus and out in 'da club (ha!) so I'm just including pics from the start of the night. We had the best time celebrating our girl!

What are some of y'alls favorite bachelorette parties?

One Dress, Two Occasions

As a girl who is always on the go, it is important to me that when I purchase an item of clothing it can be worn for more than one and dressed up or down. I fell head over heels for this Ellen and Ollie Dress (look at that giant bow- who wouldn't?!) and I love that it has become a versatile piece in my wardrobe.

I thought today it would be fun to show you two ways I styled this dress (and hopefully inspire you to dig in your closet for pieces you can remix)! Accessories make all the difference when you are changing the look of your outfit.

The first occasion this dress is perfect for is dressed up for a wedding! Grab your favorite heels (in my case these nude pumps are perpetually my go-to) and some fun baubles to make your look ready to celebrate a bride and groom! I love these statement earrings- now that I have short hair, big and bold earrings have become much more fun to wear (you can see them so much better)! I gave myself an easy up-do to make my look a little more wedding appropriate too. Love how all these fun details came together!

Event Recap: Bobby + Andrea #thereadwedding

Alright friends, you're going to have to bear with me today- the wedding of my sweet friend Andrea was so much fun! I have tons of pictures to recap this wonderful evening of celebrating the love of Andrea + Bobby.

The wedding was held at Weeki Wachee Springs (home of the live mermaids!) and it was such a pretty location- we even saw a live peacock wandering through the ceremony site!

Happy Wedding Day Andrea! #thereadwedding

 HAPPY WEDDING DAY to my gorgeous girlfriend, Andrea {soon-to-be} Read!

This sweet girl came into my life while we were half-way though the University of Florida and I could not be happier to have her in my life. She is a true encourager and constantly lifts each of her girlfriends up, always letting us know how special we are. Well today it is her turn to be the center of attention and know how amazing she is! She has met the love of her life and best friend in Bobby and I couldn't be happier to help her celebrate today!

Here are a few pics from her Bachelorette dinner at the Columbia (the yummiest restaurant in town)!
