Dear Santa...

Jacket: Loft (sold out, almost exact) || Tee: Zuilly (gift) || Shorts: J. Crew Factory || Tote Bag: c/o Honeymoon Hats || Sunglasses: c/o Diff Eyewear || Shoes: Converse || Apple Watch with this band

I feel like today's post has to come with a big disclaimer, something along the lines of "I'm not a crazy nut... it really is 85 degrees in Florida & shorts are all that don't make me sweat!" (Or you know, something like that!) ;)

Last Sunday some of my favorite gal pals and I did a peddle pub boat ride called "Kraken" here in St Pete and I knew between the sun and the peddling I would need to stay cool- so out came the shorts! I added this hilarious tee that my bestie, Abby, got for me for Christmas (she so knows my love of early 2000s hip hop) and of course this "Dear Santa" bag was the perfect finishing touch. Megan is SO talented and makes the cutest hats and bags for every occasion! They are the most festive touch!

Gifting with Girl Meets Bow: For the Lilly Pulitzer Lover

As I'm sure y'all can guess, today's gift guide was WAY too much fun for me to put together! There is literally nothing in this post that I would be sad if Santa brought me... it's all so colorful and fun! One of the things I love most about Lilly Pulitzer, is that when you use one of her pieces (or wear one of her dresses) it just makes you happy! Like goofy-grin-on-your-face happy! And in today's crazy and ever changing world, I certainly think we could all use that kind of happy. So whether you're shopping for a Lilly girl, or just a girlfriend who could use a colorful gift, I hope these ideas help you with your shopping!

Gifting with Girl Meets Bow: For the Monogrammed Girl

Welcome to the next edition of "Gifting with Girl Meets Bow"- and I'm sure it's not a surprise that this is one of my most favorite editions yet because it's all about that monogram!! Next to fried foods, monograms are a southern girl's love language- and I speak it fluently! ;)

I wanted to make sure to put this guide together for those ladies in your life who love a monogram too. Since these pieces are customized it often takes a little extra time to ship- so now is the time to order! Remember: "if it's not moving, monogram it!"

Gifting With Girl Meets Bow: For the College Girls

I'm so excited to be back today with my next gift guide and this one is extra close to my heart! As y'all may know, my baby sister is a freshman in college this year so I thought it would be fun to dedicate a gift guide to the college girls! Being in college is such a unique experience, especially as a freshman living in the dorms. You need all sorts of unique space savers, clothing for classes (and going out) and since you're living on a budget holidays are an exciting time to get those things you can't exactly treat 'yo self to on the reg!

I even asked Mallory for her advice on these ideas, so you can rest assured that the college gals in your life will love anything on this list! And if you have a teen or young post-grad, these ideas would be great for them too!

Gifting With Girl Meets Bow: Make it Personal

Friends I'm so excited to launch my holiday content today on the blog!! It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving & Christmas are only a few weeks away and I'm here to get you prepped and ready have the best holiday season yet! From gift guides, to style, to advice on making the most of the season, Girl Meets Bow is going to have y'all covered from head to toe (and everything in between)! Throughout the season if you want to reference any content, just head on up to the menu bar and hover over "Holidays" and then pick what you're looking for from the drop-down menu- easy as can be!

So were kicking off today with a personal favorite of mine... personalized gifts aka monogrammed heaven! You know I live by Reese Witherspoon's mantra, "If it isn't moving, monogram it!" and I've converted many of my friends and family over to this mentality as well :) There's something so extremely thoughtful about monogrammed or personalized gifts because the receiver knows that you had to plan ahead to make it happen. I also love that it instantly makes every gift a one-of-a-kind!

Merry Christmas Y'all!

I hope that in the midst of the presents and the cheer today we can take a moment to remember what the day is really about- the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. It's hard to fathom sometimes that our God loved us so much that her sent his Son to save us from our sins. What love that is! Daily I'm humbled by the Lord's grace for me, and today more than ever I am thankful for his faithfulness to us (even when grossly undeserved).

So hug your loved ones tight and give thanks to the Lord for he is so good!

Merry Christmas y'all!

What to Wear on Christmas Day!

Happy Christmas Eve y'all!! Can you believe tomorrow is the big day?! I sure can't! Sorry about the unexpected radio silence the last two days, it was a whirlwind to pack and come home on Tuesday and then I've been soaking up quality time with my family since- it's been blissfully stress-free! But I just had to pop in today and share a great outfit idea if you're still trying to figure out what to wear on Christmas day.

In my family Christmas day is a pretty casual affair. My sister and I have a sleepover on Christmas Eve and we always wake up by 5am ready to grab some coffee and open presents! We usually have to wait for "Santa" to finish downstairs... and Dad to wake up! But by 6am we are all up and rearing to go! So, by the time we get dressed and head to my Grandma's house for round 2 later in the day we are tired and in need of cute and comfy looks- like the one I'm sharing today.

As I'm getting back into reading more, I feel like I can't get enough chick lit in my life and Southern Charm looks like it will be right up my alley! For travel I am still hoping Santa brings this rolling duffle (now 50% off!), and in case my Santa is feeling super-duper generous this Tory Burch has been on my lust-list forever!

Santa's Helper: What to Wear Christmas Shopping

You know what they say... tis the season! With everything we "adults" have going on, it can sometimes be hard to be in the Christmas spirit (the Holiday to-do lists seem endless!) but you know what always gets me in the festivities? Holiday clothes!  There's nothing that brings cheer more than wearing a spirited shirt while shopping for gifts for my loved ones! To jazz the tee up a bit, I added my go-to skirt and boots- super easy and cute and perfect for being Santa's helper for the day!

Gifting with Girl Meets Bow: For the Lilly Lover (Under $75!)

This gift guide was so much fun for me to put together because it could have been called "gifts for me" since we all know what a Lilly-lover I am! ;) It was important to me to curate gifts that would not only delight your favorite color-loving girls but also wouldn't break the bank since everyone has so many gifts to get during the holidays! I think my favorite item are the adorable crab earrings- for under $30 they are a STEAL! Which is your favorite?

I'm so excited to be kicking off my "Gifting With Girl Meets Bow" series with under $25 gifts today! I believe that you don't have to spend a lot to give adorable and meaningful gifts- and I'm going to show you how today :) One of my favorite gifts to give is cute drink wear; coffee mugs and wine glasses get tons of use around my house so those are always appreciated! In the fall I love lighting candles and decorating with seasonal cheer, so those are gifts I love to share with my friends too! Tis the season y'all!

Three Reasons to Play Fantasy Football + A GIVEAWAY!

I know, I know I can't believe it myself... I am a girl who loves playing fantasy football! I never grew up a huge fan of NFL football (my family was all about College Gameday and cheering on our Florida Gators) but I didn't have an affinity for any professional team. However, my extended family resides in Wisconsin and they live, eat, and breathe Packers football! #GoPackGo I will never forget visiting them in Green Bay a few years ago, and my uncle took me to Lambeau field and told me all about the history and what gameday is like (he even owns a piece of the field!). Ever since then, I've always had a soft spot for those crazy cheeseheads!

One Christmas Eve

I hope y'all had the merriest Christmas and enjoyed some sweet time with your families and friends! I LOVED being home for a few days and soaking in some precious time with my loved ones. I spent lots of quality time with those that matter most, and my heart is oh-so-happy!

So, in the continuing holiday spirit (and the fact that I'm in denial that Christmas is over) I'm excited to share what I wore for Christmas Eve this year! I am completely in love with this Dolly & George skirt I wore, and I have a fun story about it! I ran into my sweet friend Amy, who I work with, at the Junior League of Tampa's Holiday Market this year. She runs the most adorable custom baby boutique in her spare time and I loved all her designs! I picked up this skirt in a toddler size and half-jokingly said "can you make this in my size?!" Well Amy was up for the challenge (I was her first adult-size skirt) and it turned out perfect!! I can't thank Amy enough for designing this for me, and I hope y'all check out her adorable shop (you'll love it!) :)
