Red, White and Blue

With the 4th of July right around the corner (#proudtobeanamerican) I rounded up a fun red, white and blue look that it perfect for a hot summer celebration! Nothing is more comfortable than a romper for sitting on a picnic blanket at the park watching fireworks- add cute sandals are you'll be the cutest gal there!

You're a Firework

Jump Around

Jumpsuits are where it's at y'all! If you read my Dallas recap yesterday, then you may have seen this cute lil number peaking at you from behind the big pink lei :) I am absolutely obsessed with this fun look! I wore this on our "ultimate bachelorette night" and it was perfect for wiggling around throughout  the evening! ha!

Playing Koi

It ain't a secret what a crush I have on all things nautical- so you can imagine that I about fell over when this pretty lil necklace made its way into my life! Wowza! These three sparkly koi fish gave me three big reasons to smile!

Since this necklace is such a statement I kept my outfit simple with navy stripes and for one extra punch threw on my adorable bow sandals (thanks mom for the great find)!

Hope you are all having a wonderful week, and throwing on a little extra bling to make it a sparkly one! :)

Workweek Chic: Black and White with Bows All Over

If you know anything about me by now, you know that bright colors are my jam- so this black and white piece may not seem like my usual M.O. However, the mix of different stripes and perfect A-line flouncy skirt are absolutely up my alley! I fell hard and fast for this classic little number as soon as I spotted it. To make it even more "me" I added some bows and poof! My favorite new work look was created!

Dress: Banana Republic (sold out but love this cute alternative) // Bow Necklace: XXI obsessed with this one) // Bow Belt: Kate Spade Outlet // Bow Heels: Antonio Melani (super similar) // Watch: Victoria Wieck // Bracelet: Victoria Wieck // Ring: Victoria Wieck

Linking up with Walking in Memphis in High HeelsThe Fashion Canvas, and Le Stylo Rouge for the Trend Spin Link-Up!

Why Thank You

When I put this outfit on, I really didn't think that it was anything special. It seemed pretty simple- a shirtdress and flats... no brainer right? Well I kid you not when I say I was stopped throughout the day by folks telling me how much they loved this look. There was even a kind gentleman who said "you look like spring"! Wearing pink certainly puts some pep in my step- and I guess it brightens other's days too! :)

Pink and White Chevron

Oh Happy Day!! Today marks my 100th post on Girl Meets Bow! How much fun I am having in this little space on the internet! Thank you for reading along and adding big bows to your life with me! :)

On to regularly scheduled programming... :)

Last Monday I threw a Cinco de Mayo party for my sweet Development Council girls in the Junior League- it was a fun night of celebrating all we accomplished this year! Well in this H-O-T Florida weather (it's been hitting in the mid-90's already!) I knew I had wear something light and airy so I wouldn't fall over from heat-stroke! This outfit was the perfect solution- it was bright and fun for a backyard party, but let me stay cool doing all the party prep. Plus who doesn't love copious amounts of pink? ha!

Party Perfect

Just because the holidays are over doesn't mean the parties have ended! Now that January is upon us it seems my social calendar is continuing to burst at the seams with birthday parties, engagement celebrations, and bridal showers. But what does one wear when it's still winter outside but the holidays are over?! My answer is bows + tulle of course!

Thanks to my stylish mamma, this adorable bow blouse is now a part of my closet and the perfect party shirt! Nothing says "celebrate" like bows, bows, bows! Tucking it into tulle, and belting it with yet another bow made me literally put on my dancin' shoes :) I am ready for cocktails with my girlfriends and the after-party night out. What is your party perfect outfit?

Christmas Cozy

When deciding what to wear for Christmas day, one word kept reverberating in my brain... "cozy". The temperatures finally dropped in Florida (to a chilly 70 degrees!) and visions of bundling up were dancing in my head.

My family tradition is to wake up at 6:30 am and open presents in our PJs, then we have breakfast, open stockings, get ready and head to my extended family's house about an hour away- so Christmas is a busy holiday for us!

I wanted to be cozy and comfortable for this busy day, and a bow sweater was the perfect way to feel festive! I am obsessed with these bow smoking loafers I found a Kohls (a STEAL at $35) and with my trademark gold bow necklace I felt wrapped up like a present! Buddy even got in on the fun with a festive Christmas sweater- he loved it!
