Well Florida sure didn't hesitate to head into summer weather- it's been in the 90's almost every day! But looking at the bright side... that means it's time to bring out your Lilly in full force! (There is always a positive right?!) 

I got this cheerful tunic top for my birthday and I am totally in love. I feel like I look about 8 shades tanner just from putting these bright colors on! ha! I also scooped up these neon Jack Rogers for a steal a few weeks ago when I got in on the Living Social/Last Call NM mega-deal ($20 for Jacks is ah-mazing)! I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more of these cuties! And hello- this gold clutch is total perfection! Adding a fun accessory like this totally glams up my casual look. It's impossible to have a bad day when you're wearing an outfit this happy!

This dress hit the blogsphere hard last year- seriously it was everywhere! With summer approaching quickly (and my shopping freeze still happening) i've been pulling out some old favorites- and this one definitely still tops the list! Sometimes oldies ARE goodies!

A Tracy a Day {Datin'}

Today is the final day of my "A Tracy a Day" series and it's everyone's favorite occasion- date night! Tracy's tongue and cheek dresses are perfect for a date night with that special someone! I like to think that when a wear this dress my date can't help but fall in love with me "hook, line and sinker"- ha!

If I haven't mentioned it before, Tracy's dresses are the most comfortable I have ever worn! I also love that they can be dressed up or down with a change of footwear and accessories. Adding wedges to this dress makes it appropriate for a date (like at my favorite restaurant The Columbia) but swap it out for your Jacks and you have a perfect dress for shopping with your friends!

Can't Get Enough

Two guesses what this nautical girl can't get enough of... that's right- ANCHORS! They are absolutely everywhere this season and I am officially addicted! There's no piece of clothing that doesn't look great wrapped in this nautical staple. When I tucked this tee into my bow shorts- I almost clapped... all my favorite things in one outfit! :)

Mile-Long Maxi

Friends I am head over heels for this maxi dress! The minute I tried it on I felt about 7 feet tall (which for a shorter girl like me is saying something)! Maxi dresses are so great for elongating your figure and hiding a multitude of sins- and they are perfect for a look of easy elegance. I also love that this outfit perfectly matched my Lilly Pulitzer wine glass (a great coincidence, no?). Cheers to Thursday y'all!

Navy + Turq

Navy + Turquoise is one of my newest favorite color combinations; something about these beachy shades looks just perfect together! I have a feeling this won't be the first time you see these colors paired together here! Plus, pattern mixing lace and stripes is the perfect nod to this gorgeous spring we are having (I'm so sorry if it's still snowing where you are!) This floral statement necklace is one of my favorite accessory purchases of the past few month- how can you not wear a big smile when you have a huge bouquet of florals around your neck? :)

The First Day of Spring

It's a wonderful day today! Do you know why?? It's officially this first day of Spring! Hooray! 

Although it's been feeling like spring for quite some time here in Florida (sorry to rub it in my Northern friends) there is something about it "officially" becoming Spring that gets me so excited- the bright and colorful clothes will be coming out in droves and there is going to be sunshine every day- what joy! 

There is no better way to celebrate my favorite season than by wearing my favorite designer... the fabulous Lilly Pulitzer. This dress is such a staple in my closet- the shirtdress design is super easy and comfortable to wear and I can dress it up or down in a snap. Plus who doesn't love this bright and colorful design?!

Polka Dot Maxi

This maxi dress was one of those "lust list" items that I obsessed over until I found it! Last summer one of my uber-stylish girlfriends wore this dress in a picture and I fell in love; unfortunately it was totally sold out at Loft and I was out of luck... or so I thought! A few weeks later I popped into my local Loft Factory store and THERE IT WAS! I was so excited I'm pretty sure I squealed with glee! This purchase has been one of those that I've never second-guessed. Every time I wear this dress I love it more and more! With the cardigan it's perfect for the office (or a breezy night) and without I add a bold statement necklace for a night out. Talk about versatile!

Spring has Sprung!

This may be one of my favorite looks I have featured on the blog to date! I think that there is nothing that more quintessentially captures my personality than a bright, colorful dress- I am all about this girly look! As much fun as it is to experiment with my look and try new combinations and trends, sometimes it is so comforting to return to those pieces that just make you feel like "you".

I happened to stumble upon this amazing brand, Ellen & Ollie, at the end of last summer and scored this dress from Belk for $20! Since then I have scooped up 5 dresses from this adorable brand and can't wait to pick up some of her new designs this season.

Strollin' and Sippin'

Let's be honest friends... sometimes shopping can be exhausting! When I'm looking for that mid-afternoon pick-me-up, nothing quite hits the spot like a yummy iced coffee! Last weekend was so beautiful that I couldn't resist poking around into all the fun local shops downtown and checking out all the fun treasures to be found. There is something magical about a sunny afternoon filled with shopping + coffee isn't there... days like these are just good for the soul :)

Sidenote... I just bought my first J.Crew city mini and can I just tell you how obsessed I am?! The perfect fit, the perfect length- this will not be my last city mini my friends!

Workweek Chic: Part 2

Today is Part 2 of my "Workweek Chic" series about what I wear to work. The occasion I am dressed for today is a vendor meeting. As part of my new position (that I start on Monday- eek!) I will now get a lot more interaction with our vendors and will get to meet with them on a fairly regular basis.  As you can imagine these meetings can often be quite long- so being comfortable is just as important as looking great! I think of this as a "semi-formal" occasion- wanting to look great, but again knowing comfort is key.

I found this tweed top at the Loft a few weeks ago (and on super sale) and when I put it on it felt as comfortable as your favorite sweatshirt! That is sure a win in my book :) To "fancy" it up, I piled on the pearls and the bangles- you can't go wrong with a little bling right?!
