Toes in the Sand with Southern Frock

Dress: Southern Frock || Sandals: Palm Beach Sandals || Apple Watch || Sunglasses: Target || Monogram Necklace: Moon and Lola

Hey y'all! Happy hump day! Today's post keeps transporting me back to the beach and I'm dreaming of getting my toes back in that sand asap!

When thinking about what to wear to a sunny (and hot!) beach, the words "light & breezy" come to mind! and friends, this dress takes the cake! Southern Frock is a brand that I have loved for awhile (check out this post and this one from the archives!) so I was super excited to get this new dress for Christmas this past year. Sadly, it ran HUGE (warning!!) and it took my tailor almost 2 months to alter it down to my size. BUT, I'm so thrilled with how the dress turned out that I can't be sad at all- I'm too excited to be twirling in it! ha.

Rompers on King Street {Charleston Night 3}

Have you ever found a piece of clothing that made you quite literally run across town to purchase the minute you saw it? That's exactly what happened with this romper! When Asha and I were shopping on King Street we stopped into Moon and Lola and the adorable salesgirl was wearing this romper. I fell in love with it on the spot and Asha and I raced across town to pick it up from Belk! (Thanks to Asha for putting up with the antics of her crazy friend! ha!) I just couldn't help myself- it was perfect for our last night out in Charleston!

Speaking of which, we ended our food tour of the city at Eli's Table and once again we had the most amazing dinner; we dined on duck and waffles, shrimp and pancakes, fried green tomatoes & shrimp and grits. It was heavenly and the perfect last hurrah! Then we danced the night away at Prohibition (which I highly recommend for playing the most fabulous variety of music- both Pit Bull and Spice Girls in the same night!)

All About the Bow

I think we all know by now that I like big bows and I cannot lie (ha!) But all joking aside I am a sucker for a great big bow! This dress was actually a bridesmaid's dress for a gorgeous rustic, barn wedding I was in a few years ago, but it continues to be a fan favorite in my closet. In my life equations, seersucker dress + bow = perfection!
