Happy First Anniversary Scout & Molly's!

Happy Friday y'all! I'm so sorry this space has been quiet this week. With traveling to NY and taking care of thing in my personal life, there just weren't enough hours in the day to "do it all!" (I know you can feel me!) But I love being back (sort-of) in the swing of things and I'm so excited to share a fun party with you today!

Your Vote Counts: What Should I Wear?

Happy Monday my sweet fashionistas! I'm excited to share today's post because I need YOUR help to dress me!

On October 28th my blogging gal pal So Sarah Hunt and I are teaming up to co-MC the Junior League of St Petersburg "Couture & Cocktails" fashion show! We are so excited to work together and share our love of fashion and local boutiques- there are so many great ones popping up every day in St Pete! Since I know not all of y'all can attend in person, I still wanted to find a way to get you involved... so I figured what better way then picking my outfit for MC-ing?!

It's pretty simple... I'm sharing my favorite look from each of the three boutiques in the fashion show, and all you have to do is comment and tell me which one is your favorite for me! (Leave a comment and let me know what I should wear) The "voting" will be open until Friday & then I'll announce the winning look. Oh, and there may or may not be a fun surprise giveaway that one person will win for commenting... ;) Fun all around!

Now let's get that voting started...

Poolside Embroidered Dress from Monroe.26

Dress: Pink Owl via Monroe.26 || Lace-Up Heels: Sam Edelman (similar style here) || Monogram Necklace: Moon and Lola (I'm wearing a size XL) || Clutch: Shandy Style || Apple Watch || Bangle: Alex and Ani || Sunglasses: Target

Like most of the clothes in my closet, this dress comes with a story (& lots of memories!) As y'all know, earlier this year I went to see my girlfriends in Raleigh for a fun weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Well on the first day we went out to lunch at this fun little hole-in-the-wall restaurant and as we were walking over I spotted a darling boutique! They happened to have a $15 rack outside, this dress was blowing in the breeze, and just like that it was mine!! It was too cold to wear it that weekend (boo!) but now whenever I stroll around in it I remember that fun & carefree weekend! Are your clothes and memories all wrapped up in one like me?

Back to School with Fiore Boutique

Today I am so excited to share with you the event I co-hosted with Fiore Boutique on Saturday! I was thrilled when their sweet store manager, Lindsay, reached out to me about working together. Basically I got to do what I love the most- hang out with the most darling staff and chat with the coolest customers about clothing and styling! Most of the girls shopping were prepping for rush weeks, so it was a blast helping them pick out their looks! And it was fun meeting so many incoming Gator girls too :) #GoGators #ItsGreatUF

I can't thank the Fiore team enough for their hospitality and making Saturday a day to remember (they even let me style their mannequins)! Enjoy this look at their store and make sure you tell them I sent you over ;)

{Giveaway} Giddy Paperie

Y'all today I am so thrilled to introduce the cutest stationary company to you, Giddy Paperie! There are times in life when I am all about technology- FaceTiming with far away loved ones, emailing with my overseas vendors, and the instantaneous connectivity of technology. But there are other times in which the old-fashioned girl in me comes out and I am all about the paper. My planner (must be hand-written), my to-do lists (love crossing things off), my recipes, and my thank you notes. There is absolutely no substitute for taking the time to write simple thank you's! I get so much joy when I receive sweet notes in the mail, and it makes me smile to think that I can give that joy to others!

This must be why I fell in love with Giddy Paperie- because they are all about making others feel special through the power of handwritten, personalized notes. As they say, "no one prints out an email and saves it like a treasure tucked in a drawer"- and I couldn't agree more! The girls at Giddy were sweet enough to send me some goodies for my kitchen (let's be honest I squealed it was so cute!!) AND they sent some goodies for y'all too! One of you is going to win the adorable "Bee Happy" notecards and a notepad. How much fun will this add to your day? SO MUCH!! Enter below & good luck! :)

What I'm Loving Lately: Curly Girl Designs

I love giving personalized and thoughtful gifts that show the recipient that you took the time to really think about their hearts. My latest obsession is Curly Girl Designs because she creates the absolute sweetest and most sentimental gifts (that aren't cheesy)!

Recently I picked out special magnets for each of my Development Council Chairs in Junior League to thank them for their leadership this past year. It was so much fun finding the perfect phrases for each of them!

Below is a sampling of a few of my favorites, but there are far too many to show you them all below- so check her out online! :)

THIS JUST IN: Curly Girl is having a SALE - this is your chance to be inspired at a fraction of the price :)

Happy Friday- we've got a long weekend ahead of us and I couldn't be happier!

NOTE: This post wasn't sponsored- I just love Curly Girl and wanted to share them with you!

Strollin' and Sippin'

Let's be honest friends... sometimes shopping can be exhausting! When I'm looking for that mid-afternoon pick-me-up, nothing quite hits the spot like a yummy iced coffee! Last weekend was so beautiful that I couldn't resist poking around into all the fun local shops downtown and checking out all the fun treasures to be found. There is something magical about a sunny afternoon filled with shopping + coffee isn't there... days like these are just good for the soul :)

Sidenote... I just bought my first J.Crew city mini and can I just tell you how obsessed I am?! The perfect fit, the perfect length- this will not be my last city mini my friends!

I Want to Ride My Bicycle

For a long time {years} I was terrified to ride a bike. I had a terrible fall on one as a little girl and that scared me senseless. About a year ago I decided to conquer my fear and try riding a bike again. I'm no expert, but I am finally regaining a sense of confidence on a bike. It's been fun to ride around and explore my new city!

Enter The Bicycle Store of St Petersburg- an adorable bike rental shop in downtown St Pete that happens to be run by one awesome and kind woman (thank you Lisa for letting me play in your shop)! Lisa believes that everyone should have a chance to explore our beautiful city on a bike so her business helps our tourists and local clientele rent a bike that is perfect for making memories. I happen to love how many pink choices there are! The shop is also full of fun graphic tees and cute bike-themed outfits that will compliment your rental perfectly.
