Let's Party!

Dress: c/o Tobi // Heels: Merona // Clutch: Sophie and Trey (similar here) // Bracelets: borrowed Jewels by Jen

While Monday might not seem like cause for celebration, I think it's the perfect time to share a party-perfect look! I like to think that if I dress happy it makes the day more fabulous :) ha!

I've always been a fan of a great fit and flare dress. This shape highlights the smallest part of every woman (making you look as tiny as possible)- but the flirty & flouncy hemline makes it perfect for a celebratory occasion! Baby blue isn't a color that I wear that often, but when I saw this shape & the gorgeous lace, I couldn't resist scooping it up! Now to find a party to wear it too... #InviteMe !

"Our Greatest Adventure Begins..."

This past weekend my besties and I got to shower one of our own, Alison, who is welcoming her first child (a sweet baby boy!) in March. It was such an amazing weekend, filled with love, laughter, memories, and the cutest baby clothes! We were all marveling over the fact that we have now been friends for 8 years (we all meet in college Freshman year) and since that time we have been through so many adventures together- but I will say that helping these girls welcome babies has to be one of the most special ones!

We decided on an "adventure" theme for Alison's shower since her hubby is a seaplane pilot and they spent several months in Alaska for his work. I figured this big 'ol fur fit right in ;) Alison & Ben are such a fun and loving couple and are seriously going to make the best parents to little Rhett Charles! We can't wait to meet him y'all!

Summer Party Wear

Is your fridge covered in invitations this season like mine is? Social events, engagement parties, weddings, and baby shows have my magnets working overtime! Since I know many ladies are in the same boat, I thought I would share a dress style that works for any of these occasions with small accessory changes. Since we don't all have unlimited budgets, it's nice to have a dress that can work overtime for your party needs :) I styled this dress how I would wear it for a baby shower, with some easy Palm Beach Sandals, a simple clutch, and my go-to bangles. But adding wedges takes you to an engagement party, and swapping in nude heels and a glitzy gold bangle stack takes you to the wedding day (as long as it's not a black-tie wedding)! This really is the dress that does it all!
