As weird as it is to get back to "normal" after all the stress and worry about Hurricane Irma, after returning home to St Pete Tuesday night it seems like it's time to get back in the groove. I'm so thankful that my home here sustained no damages other than trees & branches down and still being without cable or internet (yep it makes blogging a challenge!!). With all the cell towers we lost too it's been impossible to even get 3G service in my apartment, so last night I had to stand in our back patio to post an Instagram- ha! The things we do for social media... :) I also wanted to make sure y'all knew I'm running a fun little giveaway on my Instagram! Well y'all, we made it to Friday! I'm both excited and sad for today, because it's another fun collaboration with my girls to share how we style orange for our favorite team, BUT, it's also our last collab and I'm going to miss these sweet gals! (Be sure to check out all the ladies at the end of this post!)

I decided to keep today's look a little more casual (but still pulled together) because I realize that not everyone loves rocking a dress to football games. In fact, one of my new team members just moved from Michigan and attended her first Gator game last week and she said she was so confused by everyone wearing dresses- because that doesn't happen up north! #SouthernThing I'm obsessed with the half-tuck tee look, so that's what I did here; it's those little design elements that keep an outfit interesting! Adding on a fun tassel necklace just makes it all pop!

Me and my favorite gals are back at it again today styling orange for game day! I was so excited to find this sweet little seersucker beauty - because this shade of orange is perfect for cheering on my Gators! If you haven't checked out Lauren James, and you're a college football fan, then you most certainly have to hop on over and check her out :) I've been finding the cutest little pieces from her (in every color of the rainbow).  Now I think we can all agree that one game day essential is a breezy dress (like this one!), but what are some more of my essentials? 

1. Croakies- I got my first pair of sunglass straps in college, and now I don't know what I did without them! I love that if I want to take my glasses off I can hang them right around my neck and keep on cheering with out fear of losing them!

2. Rayne Necklace- I have a deep, deep love for these colorful necklaces & they add the perfect pop of color to any outfit (including mine for game day!) Since they are lightweight, they don't add any bulk to your attire (meaning no added sweat!) :)

3. Chic & Comfy Sandals- Goodness gracious y'all I adore these sandals!  They help you look so pulled together and yet I can walk all over campus and tailgate in them all day! From pre-party to post-party, these are the perfect shoes!

TGIF Y'all!! Anyone else feeling a major cheers to the freakin' weekend?? Short weeks some how end up feeling the longest, don't they? Well let's just move on to some positives and talk about one of my favorite topics... Gator football!!

As I'm sure y'all are aware, football season is back in full swing! But for anyone whose team features the color orange, it's no easy feat to find cute pieces to wear in support! Orange is pretty much one of the hardest colors to style (#AmIRight ??); so today I've teamed up with some of the most stylish ladies I know to share how we each style our orange for game day! I've literally been "chomping at the bit" to share these photos with you since it combines my love of fashion and football- and y'all will not believe the new friend I made when shooting this look! And of course we can't forget.. GO GATORS!

Goodness y'all... Thank you SO much for all your sweet comments and fun feedback on yesterday's post! I have so much fun getting more personal with you and I'm looking forward to bringing you more posts that share more about me and my life behind the blog!

But today I am super excited because I get to talk to you about something else I am crazy passionate about- Gator football!! If you're new around here, I'm a University of Florida alumni & I LIVE for college football season & cheering on my boys in orange and blue!! So what better way to kick off football season than talking about tailgate style?? :)

Now if you're thinking, "Gentry, isn't it too hot to wear jeans in Florida right now?"  You would be right! But at the beginning of the season no tailgate style is cute, because it ends up drenched in sweat (after all our stadium is called The Swamp)! ha! So today I'm sharing more "mid-season" style - when the weather finally cools off! Since I'm an alumni now (#SoOld) I like to play up the "preppy/collegiate" style and this button up is perfect for that! Paired with cuffed jeans and gold sandals, it's a great look for partaking in all the tailgating fun before the game & cheering on my boys during all 4 quarters!

Three Reasons to Play Fantasy Football + A GIVEAWAY!

I know, I know I can't believe it myself... I am a girl who loves playing fantasy football! I never grew up a huge fan of NFL football (my family was all about College Gameday and cheering on our Florida Gators) but I didn't have an affinity for any professional team. However, my extended family resides in Wisconsin and they live, eat, and breathe Packers football! #GoPackGo I will never forget visiting them in Green Bay a few years ago, and my uncle took me to Lambeau field and told me all about the history and what gameday is like (he even owns a piece of the field!). Ever since then, I've always had a soft spot for those crazy cheeseheads!
