Another week has some & gone - can you believe the pace of this year?! Flying friends, it's just flying! It's hard to believe we're now staring Thanksgiving and Christmas in the face! But, it is my absolute favorite time of the year (I love the holidays!!) so I'm trying to remind myself to soak it all in and really enjoy this season. Any tips for making the most of it?

It's been forever since I rounded up my favorites from the week, so I'm pumped to be sharing some new ones today- enjoy!

Well y'all, we've made it to Friday & I haven't blown away yet in #HurricaneMatthew so I'm going to take that as a win. I'm saying big prayers for my family who is still on the east coast of FL & my sister up in Gainesville as well as my friends across the state. This storm is no joke and I hope that we can weather it together. Also please pray for Haiti, the Bahamas, and Cuba who are already starting the process to rebuild. 

Thank you also for those of you who've reach out about Buddy's surgery or promised to say some prayers for him! Due to the storm I had to move his operation to Monday so we didn't get stranded in Sarasota (they close the bridge I have to drive over in high winds)- because stranded with a doped-up dog is no good! ha. So now Friday is actually my Friday... and off to the office I go!

Hellooooooooo Friday! I don't know about you but I've never been more excited to see a Friday- this week was a major doozy! Work has exploded, and with a brand merger happening in two weeks & both my bosses out of office, well this girl is BUSY! My new launch happens on October 4th so hopefully after that things will calm down a bit and get back to normal around here :) Until then... well hang in there with me!

Luckily, today is Friday which means we've got a full weekend ahead of us and I am more than ready. I've got a birthday party for my bestie and her hubby, a baby shower for another bestie, and then brand-new blog photos (yep they are coming!)  I'm looking forward to it all!

Currently Obsessing Over... {v. 79}

Well this couldn't be more true... it's Friday & I'm loving that! This week has been a sweet and busy one for sure. I'm one week in to "eating cleaner" and my body is slowly adjusting. I was starving the first few days (never realized how many carbs I ate & how full they made me), but as I got used to snacking more, smaller meals, and filling up on fruits & veggies, I'm feeling much better. I've even gotten in three workouts this week already - lots of accomplishment here!!

But don't worry, I haven't been too busy meal-planning to find all sorts of fab items to share with you today! :) Keep reading to see what else I'm loving this Friday!

Happy Fri-YAY y'all! With my mid-week trip to NYC this week certainly zoomed by! I actually have a very easy weekend on the horizon, which is needed after back to back trips and lots of packed weekends coming up. I probably say this far too often but I really can't believe how fast this year is flying by!

Happy Friday y'all! I'm so excited because this afternoon I'm off to Palm Beach for an impromptu girls weekend with two of my best gals! Asha, Sheila, and I were roomies in college, and now that we live all across Florida we decided to make it a point to get together for a fun weekend trip! I can't wait to be on the road this afternoon!

I am over the moon to see this Friday come... I need it desperately! I'm working on a huge new brand launch at work and I've had 1 too many late nights & early mornings this week! It's such an exciting time for me professionally, but it definitely takes it's toll on you. Time to rest up this weekend! And y'all I have some fun adventures in the works this weekend... can't wait to share them with ya!! (Hint: It involves a very popular talk show host!!)

Ummm, y'all how are we already 3/4 of the way through June?!?! I don't know about you but this year is FLYING by and I can't hold on tight enough! I always think I'm going to get so much more accomplished in 6 months, and then I look back and see how many New Year's Resolutions I have yet to make a dent in (*cough* read a book a month *cough*). Anyone else feel me?? Luckily we have a weekend coming up (although per usual I will be everywhere but home) and I'm looking forward to some fun! This girl is in need of popping, fizzing, and clinking!

Currently Obsessing Over... {v. 74}

This was a hard, hard week y'all. Most of you know that Orlando is my hometown, and my family and best friends are still there, so news of the massacre this past weekend was heartbreaking for so many reasons. The thought that it happened minutes from the people I love the most? Truly terrifying, and while I am so thankful my loved ones were not harmed, I ache for those families and friends who cannot say the same of the 49 victims. So much pain.

You have no idea how much your kind words, prayers, thoughts & love mean to me and the thousands who love Orlando, live there, or know those who do. It's been amazing to see hope in the midst of this tragedy and a reminder that God is, and always will be, good.

I'm definitely ready for some fun and good cheer this weekend, and I'm excited that Buddy and I are headed to Gainesville to help my sister at Preview (orientation for starting University of Florida in the fall) as well as celebrating Father's Day! Some family time is going to be good for the heart :)

How is it that short weeks sometime feel the longest?! It may have been the flying home on a red-eye into a Tropical Storm that had something to do with it! And then the slight flooding in my apartment due to all the rain for 24 hours straight... UGH. Sometimes adulating is hard y'all!

So when real life is hard, then sometimes one just has to look at pretty things and enjoy a whole bunch of fab finds & sweet obsessions... right?! :) So let's get to it!

Another week spent dreaming of the weekend- so glad that it is finally here! After traveling for over a week my apartment/life were kind of a hot mess so I spent this week getting it all in order again. Although cleaning is never my favorite task, it is so nice to have my life in order and my home reflecting that. Ahhh... now it's time to have some fun!

My family is coming to St Pete to visit me this weekend and I can't wait to see them! We're celebrating (belatedly) my dad's birthday and mother's day and I've planned out our whole itinerary to show them the city I've grown to adore! It's going to be fun!

Happy Friday y'all! Was it just me or did this week drag on... and on... and on? The good news is that we made it to Friday and now the weekend fun can begin!!

It's a pretty big weekend here:
1. Saturday is my last day as president of Junior League. It's an extremely bittersweet feeling; while I have adored every moment of the journey (and learned more than I ever believed) I am also excited to have free time back in my schedule and focus on "me". It's going to be the weirdest feeling come Sunday!
2. Monday I'm headed to New York for work for three days so I've got to get packed and ready!
3. When I get back from NY I turn around and head to Key West for a girl's weekend- some major packing is in order!!

So while I will be prepping for all my travel, here's a peek at all the goodies I'm obsessing over this week :)

Yay yay yay Friday!! I'm so ready for the weekend! Tonight is the Junior League's performance of The Follies- and our final fundraiser of the year!! It's hard to believe that the year is wrapping up so quickly but I'm trying to soak in every minute of it :)

I'm also so excited that I will get to see some of my gal pals for brunch Saturday- we're finally meeting baby Rhett and I can't wait for allllllllllll the baby snuggles! #TheSweetest

Oh happy day y'all- it's Friday!! Although this week zipped on by, it's been an extremely busy one with nightly meetings and far too many commitments! BUT, next week our Junior League is putting on a super fun show/fundraiser called "The Follies" so all my meetings have been fun because they are rehearsals for this great show!

This weekend will not have a lot of rest either though... I have a kickoff party for Mainsail Art Festival tonight, volunteering at the festival tomorrow, and getting in new blog pictures (I'm out!) Whew! Throw a few more dance rehearsals in there and you have one tired (but happy) girl! I thought weekends were for relaxing?! :)

Can I get a big 'ol "heck yes" for Friday?? Oh yes! I'm sorry if I've been saying this far too often, but this week was another crazy daisy one. With T-22 days left of the presidency, things seem to be going about 150 miles a minute and I'm just trying desperately to hang on! :) Even this weekend is jam-packed full of activities... so I'm going to load up on coffee and go, go, go!!

Happy Friday! I don't know about you, but I'm SO ready for beach days to be here! Plunk my booty in a chair with a margarita in my hand and I'm going to be one happy girl :) 

I can't say thank you enough for all the sweet birthday wishes yesterday- you sure made this girl feel special! As you're reading this, I'm actually on my way to Houston to celebrate my birthday with one of my favorite party girls! The rodeo is in town so we're looking forward to a country, boot-scootin', good time! I can't wait for all the antics that will be ensuing and will be sure to share pictures once I'm back (and will be sharing lots on Instagram I'm sure)! :)
