It's Friday (cue the confetti!!) I don't know about you but I am thrilled that the weekend is here! It's been a surprisingly stressful week (tons going on at work) and after three weeks of interviews for a promotion I found I have another one on Monday- so back to prepping I go! :) In fun news, I also got to go to the grand opening of a fabulous new boutique in St Petersburg, Canvas Fashion Gallery- I'll have pictures to share next week! Prepping for Fall

Fall fashion Gentry… for real?! I know, I know… it's a hundred degrees outside and I'm chatting about  fall! But fall fashions have started to hit stores, and now I'm DYING for the leaves to change and the temps to drop. Since I can't wear any of these pieces now (#thanksFlorida) I can at least get my closet ready (and you can too!) This is my go-to look for fall & winter (since they are one and the same in FL). Happy October y'all! We've entered the month of leaf wreathes and pumpkins galore- I can't wait for all my favorite fall activities! I'm dreaming of hayrides and pumpkin patches asap- what are you excited for?!

Travel in Style

I feel like lately I have been packing up my suitcase more than unpacking it- I seem to be off on another trip every time I turn around! It's fun jetting around the country to celebrate bachelorettes, weddings, birthdays and annual conferences- but it has sure shown me the need to travel in style (and comfort)! I love slouchy, comfortable pieces that pull you together and allow you to arrive looking chic. What is your go-to travel style?

Collegiate Style

Although it has been a few years since I graduated from my beloved University of Florida (GO GATORS) I continue to have a soft spot for preppy, collegiate style. When I was in college the dress code was more often than not VS Pink Sweatpants and a Gators t-shirt, but oh what I wouldn't give to go back now and attend classes with a popped collar and argyle vest!

Somedays I still like to pretend I am 21 and trotting off to class (rather than almost 26 and trotting off to the office)! To me this outfit is the quintessential "collegiate chic" and it is sure fun to wear it and reminisce about the good 'ol days.
