{Giveaway} Giddy Paperie

Y'all today I am so thrilled to introduce the cutest stationary company to you, Giddy Paperie! There are times in life when I am all about technology- FaceTiming with far away loved ones, emailing with my overseas vendors, and the instantaneous connectivity of technology. But there are other times in which the old-fashioned girl in me comes out and I am all about the paper. My planner (must be hand-written), my to-do lists (love crossing things off), my recipes, and my thank you notes. There is absolutely no substitute for taking the time to write simple thank you's! I get so much joy when I receive sweet notes in the mail, and it makes me smile to think that I can give that joy to others!

This must be why I fell in love with Giddy Paperie- because they are all about making others feel special through the power of handwritten, personalized notes. As they say, "no one prints out an email and saves it like a treasure tucked in a drawer"- and I couldn't agree more! The girls at Giddy were sweet enough to send me some goodies for my kitchen (let's be honest I squealed it was so cute!!) AND they sent some goodies for y'all too! One of you is going to win the adorable "Bee Happy" notecards and a notepad. How much fun will this add to your day? SO MUCH!! Enter below & good luck! :)

Recipe Box: Pepperoni Chicken

I thought it would be fun today to share a super-yummy recipe that is easy-peasy to whip up and tastes oh-so-good! (PS- it's a bonus that the men love it too)!

I first made this recipe in college with my best girls. One of my besties, Emily, loved to have her mom come visit for girl's weekends. And we all loved it because Mrs. Carmen was a GREAT cook- which meant lots of yummies for us!! This recipe was a Mrs. Carmen original, and I think you will all agree that is a favorite for everyone in your life. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!

1) Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees

Organize Me Monday: Recipe Box

Even though life has been a bit crazy lately (read: running between work, Junior League meetings, friends and family) I love the simple joy of taking some time to make a home cooked meal. Even if it's as simple as throwing together a crockpot dish, I love trying new recipes- and old-time favorites!

I am a bit old fashioned in my recipe organization and I'm not ashamed :) I love handwritten recipes, each and every one tells a story and brings back memories. I have ones handwritten by my mom, giving me tips for cooking; ones written my girlfriends, reminding me of the fun we had making them together; and ones written by me, that I bring back fond times I had cooking for loved ones.

But when you have so many recipes, you have to have a great way to organize them! I file mine away by "type of dish"- appetizers, side dish, main dishes, and desserts. Then within these main categories I break them down by main ingredient. This makes is super simple for me to find whatever I am looking for!

How do you organize your recipes? Do you organize them physically or digitally?
