Hellooooooooo Friday! I don't know about you but I've never been more excited to see a Friday- this week was a major doozy! Work has exploded, and with a brand merger happening in two weeks & both my bosses out of office, well this girl is BUSY! My new launch happens on October 4th so hopefully after that things will calm down a bit and get back to normal around here :) Until then... well hang in there with me!

Luckily, today is Friday which means we've got a full weekend ahead of us and I am more than ready. I've got a birthday party for my bestie and her hubby, a baby shower for another bestie, and then brand-new blog photos (yep they are coming!)  I'm looking forward to it all!

Well y'all, at this time next week we will be sipping coffee and unwrapping presents while listening to Christmas carols- I can't believe Christmas is almost here! This season has sure flown by and I'm not sure I'm ready yet for 2016! I'm happy to have this weekend to finish my Christmas shopping and wrap all my gifts- but I'm most excited for next week when I see my loved ones unwrap them! I'm also headed to a fun Christmas party and gift exchange with my bible study girls- can't wait!

One of the things I want most on this blog is to share my heart with y'all. Fashion is a huge part of who I am so I enjoy sharing fun looks and finds in hopes that it sparks ideas for you too, but I also love current events, cooking, reading, dancing to good jams & more! So I'm going to switch up the format of my Friday series in hopes that I can share a little bit more of "me" with you! Happy happy Friday- oh it is a happy Friday indeed! I'm headed to Gainesville this weekend to cheer on my Gators at Homecoming and I can't wait! It's my first weekend back since I graduated 5 years ago, so cheering on my boys is going to be extra special!

Whoop whoop! The weekend is here and I couldn't be more excited!! I totally chopped my hair last night and though I freaked out for about 30 seconds, I'm loving the shorter bob - it makes it so much easier to wear scarves! ha! :) I'm hoping to get a good picture of it this weekend to share with y'all!

Besides my hair I have some other fun obsessions on this fabulous Friday...

{ONE}

I've been taking tons of weekend trips lately, and have been finding that my luggage game is severely lacking for these occasions! I pack way too much for a duffle (plus my shoulder is not strong enough!) so I'm hoping that Santa brings me a great new wheeled weekender :) This Vera Bradley Lighten Up Wheeled Luggage would definitely do the trick! Plus bright colors make travel that much more fun right? 

{TWO}

We all know that plaid is the print of the season, but how darling is gingham? Especially in this spacious poncho from Anthropologie... SWOON! I've already style the Picnicker Poncho about 6 different ways in my head- it's time to pull the trigger so I can do it in real life!

{THREE}

I often struggle with heels and can barely ever make it through a day in them, but when I was at Target earlier this week I got distracted in the shoe section (what else is new) and I think I might have actually found the comfiest pair of heels! These Lainee Pumps might have completely changed my shoe game for the better- y'all have got to check them out! #TargetDoesItAgain

{FOUR}

We can all agree that the bigger the better when it comes to fall sweaters, right? Well I have definitely found the ultimate fall sweater, and the best part is it comes in 7 colors and is under $30! Is this Cowl Neck Sweater too good to be true? Nope y'all! ;) Let me know what colors you scoop up... I'm thinking gray and blush for me!

{FIVE}

Y'all know that I'm majorly obsessed with Cam, and she just announced that her album "Untamed" drops December 11th- eek!! I'm pumped with anticipation for all the fabulous songs that I will soon be singing along too!

It's Friday (cue the confetti!!) I don't know about you but I am thrilled that the weekend is here! It's been a surprisingly stressful week (tons going on at work) and after three weeks of interviews for a promotion I found I have another one on Monday- so back to prepping I go! :) In fun news, I also got to go to the grand opening of a fabulous new boutique in St Petersburg, Canvas Fashion Gallery- I'll have pictures to share next week! Happy Fri-YAY y'all! What a whirlwind week it has been! I had an event or meeting every night this week and have missed my workouts this week- I'm definitely feeling the effects of a busy schedule! On Wednesday I got to have some fun with McKenzie from Winsome and Gold, we had a mini blogger meet up and had such a blast getting to know each other and talking shop! It's so nice so chat with someone else who knows the highs and lows of blogging too.

I don't know about you, but I'm feeling pretty darn colorful this Friday! I couldn't even narrow down my Friday quote to just one- so you get double the fun today! I guess it could have something to do with the fact that I'm currently in New Orleans and having so much fun at Junior League Fall Leadership Conference! Fri-YAY I am so happy to see you!! It's been a nice week (I know that sounds like the blandest adjective ever but it's the only way to describe it!) and I finally feel settled back in after all my travel. There may be a hurricane headed to Florida on Monday- so I know I'll need to weekend to prep for that! Fingers crossed it's not as bad as they say ;)

{ONE}
When I helped my sister with her back-to-school shopping I came across this romper but it was already sold out in my size in stores. Since that fateful day I have been not so patiently waiting for it to come out online and lucky day it has! I'm wild about the print (it's even prettier in person) & the sleeves (perfect for transitioning to fall). Scoop it up before it's gone again!

{TWO}

I bought this sweater last season from J. Crew and it looks like J. Crew Factory has brought it back for another hurrah- and y'all I couldn't be more excited to see it back! I have it in both a light gray and maroon version and I wore it all the time last fall- in fact it's one of the pieces I'm most excited about breaking out again when the weather cools! {FOUR}
I think you know by now that I am all about an easy, comfy swing dress and this striped dress from Loft has my name written all over it! With wedges now and booties later, it's the perfect dress for "the transition" time that's coming!

{FIVE}
I was recently contacted about a wonderful fundraiser in Orlando called "Passion for Fashion"  which will benefit Ovarian Cancer Research. The event began two years ago after Cheryl Bright lost her mother to ovarian cancer and she decided to spread awareness regarding detection and to also raise funds for research. I can't imagine losing my mother, but I'm inspired that Cheryl is finding a way to help others! I wish I was in Orlando to attend this amazing evening, so if you are more local I'd encourage you to join in an evening of fashion and philanthropy.

I hope you have some fun plans this weekend! I'm pumped to be meeting with my photographer this weekend to shoot some new outfits for the blog (it's been almost 6 weeks since our schedules matched up) and I have so many looks I'm dying to share with you!

This week was the first week that I didn't have a meeting every night after work, and I have to tell you that it felt so very good! I've forgotten what it was like to have free time- it's the best thing ever! :) I got to take my favorite Zumba classes and went for a long run- glorious y'all!

This good mood mean I have famously fun things to share with y'all! So here's all the goodies that caught my eye this week (and trust me… you're going to LOVE #5! hint: it's for YOU!)

Woah friends! What a busy and wonderful week it has been! As you may have seen on Instagram, yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to speak at my alma mater, the University of Florida, to a class of business & retail students about my career path in retail and my tip and tricks for them to land their dream job. I was such a humbling experience to speak with students whose shoes I was in just 5 years ago (omg time flies!!) I had a blast and it was neat to see everyone respond so positively! So thankful for a great day (and thank you so all the students who attended both in-class and online, y'all rock)!

This week has been a pretty nutty one y'all & it's not over yet! This Saturday is my Leadership Retreat for all my incoming Junior League chairs, so I've been running all over town like a madwoman making sure every last detail is set and ready to go! Plus we have an amazing speaker coming in to facilitate our training, so we are hosting a big cocktail party for her tonight to welcome her to town. Although it's sure to be a thrilling event (s) it sure is exhausting making sure it all comes together! I'm very thankful to have an amazing support system of women in the league who have helped me with so many details of the weekend! These ladies are true gems!!

Now onto my weekly obsessions (because let's be real there is always a few minutes for those!)

Oh em gee y'all! This week flew by at warp speed! Every day at work I blinked and *boom* it was 5:30 and I was off to a Junior League meeting! Friends, I just wish time would slow down a teeny weeny bit… don't you? 

I'm really excited for this weekend because the only plans I have are fun ones!! Yippee Skippee!! I get to see one of my besties in Auburndale for a party Saturday & then I have a JL Bridal Shower for one of our sweet gals Sunday! Can't wait to see all my friends!

I can't thank y'all enough for your sweet birthday wishes this week! You really know how to make a girl feel special! I'm actually going to keep the party going this weekend with my family and am headed up to my Alma Mater, the University of Florida, so my sister can talk to some admissions counselors about the programs she's interested in (#stopgrowingup)! I can't believe it's time for her to think about college! Since my mom, sister, and I are all March babies (sorry dad) we thought it would be super fun to spend the weekend at UF celebrating! I can't wait to be back on my old stomping grounds!! :)

Another week has come and gone, and boy was it a busy one!! These days I'm starting to feel like the road running going a mile a minute! Tomorrow is my retreat for all my incoming board members for the 2015-16 Junior League year. I'm so excited to work with these amazing ladies as we learn more about leadership and working together! It's going to be such a great day!

As a fun side-note, today is my 300th post!! It's hard to believe I've already written so much in this fun little space of mine! I can't thank each of you enough for stopping by and joining me on this fun journey! :)

Currently Obsessing Over… {v. 25}

Was it just me or was this a doozy of a week? Maybe it's that weird funk that happens in February where it feels like the month both raced by and lasted forever, but something felt a little "off" for me. Or it could be the high levels of stress I'm under… that might have something to do with it! 

Luckily I have a super-fun weekend planned filled with some of my favorite girls!! Tonight I'm headed out for dinner and drinks with some of my fellow Dancin' Gators from college (it's been too long girls!) and then tomorrow I'm headed to a swim event with Land's Ends in the morning before trekking to Orlando for a  baby shower with all my college besties! Sunday it's the Junior League's Tea Party and Fashion Show & i'm modeling in it! Whew! I'm exhausted thinking about it all, but can't wait to see all my friends! :) 

So let's get to all the things that made me smile real big in the midst of this crazy week...
