Another week has come and gone, and boy was it a busy one!! These days I'm starting to feel like the road running going a mile a minute! Tomorrow is my retreat for all my incoming board members for the 2015-16 Junior League year. I'm so excited to work with these amazing ladies as we learn more about leadership and working together! It's going to be such a great day!

As a fun side-note, today is my 300th post!! It's hard to believe I've already written so much in this fun little space of mine! I can't thank each of you enough for stopping by and joining me on this fun journey! :)

Currently Obsessing Over… {v. 25}

Was it just me or was this a doozy of a week? Maybe it's that weird funk that happens in February where it feels like the month both raced by and lasted forever, but something felt a little "off" for me. Or it could be the high levels of stress I'm under… that might have something to do with it! 

Luckily I have a super-fun weekend planned filled with some of my favorite girls!! Tonight I'm headed out for dinner and drinks with some of my fellow Dancin' Gators from college (it's been too long girls!) and then tomorrow I'm headed to a swim event with Land's Ends in the morning before trekking to Orlando for a  baby shower with all my college besties! Sunday it's the Junior League's Tea Party and Fashion Show & i'm modeling in it! Whew! I'm exhausted thinking about it all, but can't wait to see all my friends! :) 

So let's get to all the things that made me smile real big in the midst of this crazy week...

There is so much to pop, fizz, & clink about this Friday (besides the fact that the weekend is here)! One of my best gal pals, Stephanie is flying in today from Chicago for a fun girls weekend! We're going to kick off the weekend by getting our nails done and then shopping and catching up to our heart's content! I'm so looking forward to having some girl time and relaxation! Can't wait to share some pictures from our fun weekend! :)

Now on to what's got me obsessing this week (and if you make it to the end there may be something in it for y-o-u! :) See? This Friday is seriously the best!

Currently Obsessing Over... {v. 23}

We've made it to another Friday y'all, and a Friday the 13th no less! It's a high of 55 degrees today, so by Florida standard it's freezing!! brrrrr!! 

I'm pretty excited to celebrate Valentine's day tomorrow, and whether you are celebrating Valentines or Galentines Day I hope you have a most wonderful party and feel so loved! There is so much fun stuff popping around the web, so I am super excited to share all my weekly obsessions with you!

Currently Obsessing Over…{v.22}

This has been the best week y'all! I'd been struggling to find time to workout (I typically have Junior League meetings 3-4 nights a week so night time workouts are pretty impossible) so this week I committed to getting up for 5:30am workouts and it has been a complete change of routine (for the best)! It has made such a difference in my day! I love that now I go into work with a huge "to do" crossed off my list, plus it is freeing up so much time for me in the evenings! It's a complete win win! :) How do y'all fit working out into your routine? 

With this positive outlook in mind, here are the other things making me smile this week...

Can I just say that I am ready for the weekend?! I'm pretty dang excited to sleep. Really, that's going to be the highlight of my weekend… sleeping! zzzzzzzz… While I'm getting ready for some sweet dreams, here are the things that I am dreaming of in real life (otherwise known as my current favorites)! 1. I was SO EXCITED to be featured on the Southern Blog Society this week for my plaid fall look! I joined the SBS this summer and have found it to be a tremendous resource to network with other bloggers as well as learn tips and tricks to make Girl Meets Bow the best it can be! If you are a Southern Blogger you should definitely check these awesome ladies out! (They also recently launched the Southwest Blog Society for those of you across the country.) I thought this quote was perfect for one of the first Friday's of a new year! This graphic was such a great reminder to me that if I want to see change in my life, than I'm going to have to do things differently- because isn't the definition of madness doing the same thing and expecting different results?!

Happy Friday Friends! This week has been a great one! I'm not sure if it's because Florida has finally hopped on the Fall bandwagon (amen high of 79 degrees!) or all the sample sales at work (they are a great perk of working in retail) but I'm just ending this week so happy! Also, my beloved Gators play their homecoming game and my fingers and toes are crossed that they have a great showing! I've been diving back into my Bible study on "The Circle Maker," and the lesson I keep coming back to is that seeing our prayers answered is a combination of heart and hustle. It is praying to our Sweet Lord and putting in our own hard work. Heart & hustle, heart & hustle...

Fab-Find Friday: The Perfect Denim Jacket + Save the Date

I've always had a "thing" for denim jackets- I think it's that southern girl in me! Even as a young girl I can remember adoring the way they pull an outfit together. However (and I think we all know this from experience) denim jackets are not always the most comfortable. Far too many of them are stiff and constricting - I've tried on some where my arms can't reach over my head!

Well all these concerns flew out the window when I found this gem of a denim jacket! I was volunteering at the Junior League of St Petersburg signature fundraiser last year, the "Whale of a Sale" when I stumbled upon this donated treasure for sale- a brand new (with tags), never worn White House Black Market Jacket! I was skeptical about trying it on, having had so many poor fitting jackets before, but I finally slipped it on and it was like magic! So comfortable, moveable, flexible, and an adorable lil ruffle on the bottom to boot! This jacket is the perfect layering piece all year long!

Fab-Find Friday: Old Navy Fair Isle Cardigan

This fall season I have been LOVING the oversize chunky/tribal sweater trend. Every time I see one it conjures up images of snuggling by the fire with a big 'ol mug of cocoa. I love that whether you are having a skinny day or one of those inevitable "chubby days" these sweaters hide all sins and yet still look pulled together!

I got this cardigan from Old Navy on Black Friday for 50% off- it was a steal at $25! To finish off the look, I paired it with my Lilly Pulitzer travel pants (you can read about my love for them here) and my favorite Sam Edleman boots (they are the perfect riding boots)! I would wear this outfit running errands on a chilly weekend or brunching with my friends- it would keep me warm if we sat out on the porch!
